  1. Many good aspects.

Especially the compatibility of different transport systems is important from the point of view of follow-up costs.

For example look in Bangkok, the coordination between BTS, MRT and bus systems.

A composite transport system would be more than useful.

A monthly ticket valid for all systems, same cash and barrier systems, etc.

It would be much more efficient to buy only one ticket for all systems, then 3 times for each system individually.

What a waste of money and time

  2. Next they should try Sukhumvit 11. Another area infested with these morons.

On a separate note, it's not easy to 'take a video as evidence'... some of these morons carry weapons (and I mean some more damaging than a stick) and have no qualms about using it.

Last week i stayed with my suitcase in front from my Hotel at the End of Sukhumvit Soi 11 at 10 am. Destination: Don Muang Airport.
The connection from the Soi 11 over Soi 3 to the highway is actually unproblematic at 10 am; No rush hour.
I ask all about meter and that i will pay the highway toll.
In 5 minutes I stopped 6 taxis and no one wants to drive me.
    3 said no,
others offered no meter 500Baht, 600Baht and 600 Baht.
It was not until the seventh taxi then took me for the regular fare.
I gave the driver a good tip, he helped me also with my suitcase.
I guess the police could easily find 100 taxi drivers per hour in the Sukhumvit 11,

who no wants to drive or only drive with no meter.

Another taxi driver told me that in Soi 11 is to much Taxi Mafia.
The taxis permanent standing in front of the hotels, should be avoided.
It looks like that from the outside coming taxis are only allowed to deliver their passengers at the hotels,

but they can not take direct other hotel guests for the next trip.

Many honestly taxi drivers are afraid about problems with this thugs!

  3. F..k the parks.

But that learns others to do the same.

... to charge (10 times) more.

This double price mentality will spread and scatter in the normal live.

To pay for water, food, transportation, etc a special foreigners white - black, long nose price.

    That is discriminatory.

would it be discriminatory to charge for water, food, transportation such a price that only rich foreigners could pay effectively excluding locals from being able to eat, drink or go anywhere ?

Discrimination means excluding a person or group from something through actions.

No farang is being excluded here.

They are not being charged such an amount that they could not afford it.

the simple measure of discrimination is -: Is anyone being disadvantaged ?

If you are in such a pathetic way that as a foreigner you cant afford $15 entry fee to a national park, then you need to head home

    That is NOT discrimination

I wish you a lot of money in your life.

There are also many european students who have long saved for their S-E Asia journey.

They would maybe like to visit many parks.

But they are not so rich.

    Maybe they are disadvantaged?

  4. Release of in-stock Thai rice will not affect market price, says Minister

Thailand exported altogether 10.8 million tonnes of milled rice worth US$ 5.37 billion last year which was regarded as the highest amount in recent history, said Commerce Minister General Chatchai Sarigalaya on Monday.
The 2014 rice export represented an increase of 64 percent in term of quantity and 22 percent in term of value compared to 6.6 million tonnes worth US$ 4.42 billion export in 2013.
    x ton $ Year Baht ($*30)
    10.800.000 5.370.000.000 2014 161.100.000.000
    6.600.000 4.420.000.000 2013 132.600.000.000
    2014 dollar/ton = 497,22
    2013 dollar/ton = 669,69
    price loss per ton = 172,47 dollar/ton -5.174
    in % = -25,75%
loss based on the amount =
    4.200.000 * -172,47 = -724.393.939$ -21.731.818.182 Baht
Sorry to say, but for the year 2013 to 2014 there was a sale price decline: -25,75%
  5. I have legitimate prescription (Bumrungrad) for Xanex which I occasionally use as a sleeping aid, long haul flights etc. As this is a member of benzodiazepine family and can sit in your system for around 3 weeks I'm wondering how this would play out should I test positive during a roadside piss test .

How accurate is the piss test?

2 Red Bull drinks and you are maybe positive?

  6. Don't Vote For 'Previous Politicians,' Prayuth Advises Nation.

That is very weak and does not help anyone.

Better all politicians of the last parliaments should be banished a lifetime of public office.
The old politicians have yet ridden the country in the shit.
The old politicians are quite clearly incapable of democracy.
The only thing they are interested in, is their personal well-being and not the nation.

Ban them all and restart with new and honest people!
