The 12 months bank statements may well not be enough. I am with Kasikorn and last month I had to go to the main Pattaya Klang office to get a certificate from them re the 22 x 65,000 Baht. The boy at desk 8 gave me an Immigration template to take to Kasikorn. -

So, you are married and want to move your wife to the UK permanently? Are you familiar with the UKVI criteria a Settlement visa? If the answers are “yes” then it is unlikely that you will need the services of an agent. -

VfS. British passports are not made in India, most are made in Poland. You may be confusing UK visas, via VfS, which are processed in India.

Just a quick word of advice on your missus emptying your bank account - and I am not trying to teach grandmother to suck eggs - make sure that she knows to keep to daily limits; once the ATM card is retained the plan is over. Take with the pin number and withdraw, say, 30k every day - or every other day.

That is good, especially from a practical standpoint. Be aware that all mandates cease on death. Withdrawals from a sole account would not be legal - but extremely practical. Another party to a joint account is entitled to the funds on the basis of survivorship.....I am slightly surprised that they don't want to hear about the death...... obviously this joint account is 'either to sign'.
