Schwab Int account can hold retirement accounts. Account transfer is not a taxable event, the cost basis will also be transferred. You may have to pay tax and report higher income only if you sell stocks or transfer from a IRA account to non-IRA account. To transfer part or whole account , sign into Schwab account >move money>tranfer account and follow the instructions. Stay with Schwab since you are familiar with the company and from my experience it is the most "expat friendly ". If you are interested, Interactive Brokers Lite does not have a minimum to open and no maintenance fee. IBKR can also hold retirement accounts and can receive online account ACATS tranfers. Sign into account>Tranfer&Pay>Transfer Positions>Incoming and follow the instructions.

I keep it simple. FD account for immigration >800k. No small deposit/withdrawal is required to update the balance . This is with Bangkok Bank. Another for credit card guarantee. Remember: If the credit card is active the available balance is the account balance minus the security guarantee. If the balance is 70K and the credit card guarantee is 50K then the available balance is only 20k for the immigration purposes.

I do not know since when but the new law requires a new plate registered in your own province if you want to change name.

Look at the package labels.

I gave my Chonburi registered old bike to someone in Yaso. So the registration had to be moved to Yaso. I was told there were two ways to do it: 1. Go to Chonburi Land Transportation office to notify them . A note will be printed in the bike book that the registration will be moved. 25B , same day. Then goto Yaso to apply for a new plate. The registration will be trasfered right away. 2. without going to Chonbori opffice first, goto Yaso office which will inform Chonburi office. Yaso office will be able to transfer the registration after the papperwaok came back from Chonburi. Either way the bike has to be inspected at the new province. If the seller's compulsary insurance and tax have not expired, you do not need to buy new insurance for the purpose of name transfer. . You will only need new insurance to renew the bike tax when it expires. Make sure you get all the necessary documents from the seller. After the trasfer you will still be using the same bike book with new info printed on it, but a new plate. The new sticker will show a new registration number but the same expiration date.

Dealing with BPH? I am taking Doxazosin 2 mg only, also try to lose weight by watching my diet, walking at least 30 minutes everyday and cut down on alcohol. Still have to wake up at night to go to the bathroom but not as often as before. I am taking Doxazosin with 5mg Bisoprolol which is a beta bloacker. I cleared with a doctor before that. BP 122/74 this morning. BTW Based on my limited experience, I would not recommend the two clowns at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, Banglamung Hospital has a young excellent Urologist if you can wait for an appointment.

I do the same with my laptop. Take a look at InvadeIT. My 5 year old Lenovo has similar specs . is this adequate for you? -

Can anyone recco a good printer that is available in Thailand ?
Thailand J replied to Pumpuynarak's topic in IT and Computers
I believe the toner comes with the printer. Look online for cheap replacement cartridges . TN-1000 or something like that.....depends on the model. I have good experience with Brother printers over the years I hope you enjoy using it. -

I have been using Brother lazer printers for a long time. Print only, no wifi, HL1110 2590B Print only, with wifi HL1210W 3590B Multi-function (print scan copy), no wifi DCP 1510 3990B Multi function with wifi DCP 1610W 4990B good enough for me. Cheap toner on Lazada. -
Extraction only if a crown is impossible...please. I visit a dentist twice a year until Dr Warin in Pattaya told me to see him once a year only. The very basic reason is to avoid any extraction, by catching any problem early.

Another suggestion. The popular Mouton Cadet Bordeaux for 775B. https://th.wine-now.asia/baron-philippe-de-rothschild-mouton-cadet-bordeaux-rouge.html -

If you are willing to spend a little more, anyone of these from Georges Dubouef is worth the price. Their Chardonny and Cabernet were my everyday winesfor a long time. You may get a discount buying the 6 packs here: https://th.wine-now.asia/catalogsearch/result/?q=Georges+Duboeuf+ In US I get at least 6 pack of their Beaujolais nouveau every year but not willing to pay for it here. https://th.wine-now.asia/georges-duboeuf-beaujolais-villages-nouveau-2022.html -

Sancerre brings back memory of my trip to Loire Valley. Ah...the chateaus. I saw it somewhere in Pattaya for less then 3000B a few days ago, now I cannot remember where. There are many Loire Valley wines here available: https://th.wine-now.asia/wine/white-wine.html?region_wine=9593
