Thailand Targets Tougher Alcohol Laws to Align with Global Norms
seajae replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
In Australia bottle shops operate from 8am to 10pm or hours in between 9 - 9 etc but there are also ones that do home deliveries at differing hours, Thailands 11 am opening and 2 pm to 5 pm closing before opening again is total BS -
I have a 45" chest and have a hard time finding shirts to fit, thai sizing makes me think that thai men like to think they are big when they are not. A 5xl is still tight across my chest in most cases, I look for sizing that has the actual measurements and then allow for the variance as they are always a few centimetres out, have most luck when there are sales etc in shopping centres as they try to get rid of larger sizes as most thais have smaller chests.

wife said the same thing actually, we do have several cameras around the house inside the fence as well as on the house itself plus we have a few good dogs that would have no problem causing bodily harm if they got over the fence at our other house near the lake they would hold big parties till the early hours, music was that loud the windows would shake and the bass was set so high it would go through your body, unfortunately in Thailand there dont appear to up hold the laws as police are not inteeted and local govt officials take back handers. We are lucky that my wife did go higher than local govt I found out, they actually called her today and told her exactly what they would do and shutting them down is on top of their list,

Update, wife went to speak to local authority and took all the pics, they have told the factory owneres theh have till the 17th of this month to start build a fence around the property and place filters to stop the smoke or they will be closed down. They have been promising both for over a year but never did it, apparently they are very wealthy and their family own a lot of land in our area.

We have a bitumen/cement business about 100 metres away, they were good when we bought our land but now totallty disregard the laws, they work 7 days a week and on public holidays, noise levels are badlus now they are generating a heavy black cloud of smoke that has a very bad smell and drifts across our house as well as getting inside, This morning it was really bad and I currently have a heavy burning sensation in my chest and have trouble breathing, I did ride the qaud bike there and took pics then went to the office and told the girls they need to shut it down then took more pics from their veranda so they could watch me so it, I rode home and about 5 minutes later it was shut down, I would not be surprised if it is carcenogenic, currently considering going to a lawyer to see if anything legal can be done and if we can take them for the problems it is causing me, will add a pic to show what I am talking about. This smoke drifts over our land/house and when there is no wind it settles on us

about to renew my extension in the next couple of weeks, 400,000 baht needs to be in your bank account at least 2 months prior to the application and needs to remain there for around another month during the consideration period, it can be removed as soon as you get your approval and new stamp. I have been doing this way for several years, I just remove the money for 9 months once my extension is approved and place it in a seperate account with the chance of excellent interest.

Drink deep, my brothers, of the delicious tears of the deluded left!
seajae replied to Hanaguma's topic in Political Soapbox
Doesnt matter which side you are on, everyone has the right to vote the way they feel, a wife/husband doing this because they voted differently is really pushing sh*t uphill. All it does ia show how mentally deficient they are by demanding their partners vote the way they are told to, divorce is the only way to go with idiots like this, it shows just how pathetic they think. -
Thaksin Pushes Controversial Projects Despite Opposition
seajae replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
he knows he has the courts in his pocket so he can do as he pleases with no recourse, so much for not having anything to do with running the pheu thai, this shows who is the big boss of it and always will be, trouble is the courts are never going to find him guilty because he has them all taking his money -
Police Chief Targets Dr. Bun, Reckless Events, and Arrogant Foreigners

A new way to turn right at the intersection, Thai style?
seajae replied to lordgrinz's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
mate I am aware of this but this is Thailand and road rules mean nothing to most thai drivers/riders, most dont even know the road rules and drive in a way that suits them only, no indicators, wrong side of the road, overtake and flash light and expect you to drive off the road for them, they are way to arrogant and would not get a licence in any western country. The fact police refuse to do anything about it doesnt help -
A new way to turn right at the intersection, Thai style?
seajae replied to lordgrinz's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
happens all the time, seems some thais do not like to stop or wait for other cars when they want to turn right so drive on the wrong side of the road to ensure they do not have to wait for other cars when they get to the road they want to turn right into, see it virtually everytime we drive anywhere -
bought and paid for obviously

sorry mate, not brit slang, shows where you keep your head so its out of natural light, suggest you look at the map of the way the US voted, wasnt just a small percentage. I realize you would much prefer that the dem city votes had more power but they dont get to run the rest of the country, it ensures all states have their voice heard not just big dem cities.
-
jing thing and his dem fan club have gotten their knickers in a knot and are having a huge dummy spit because the people elected trump and ignored all the BS coming from ther left. They knew the truth & the crap biden has caused would destroy the dems and are now crying because the greater majority of the US apart fom the rusted on dems saw through what the dems were doing to the country.
-
what is going on, everytime I come in to thai visa to read anything I am taken to the end of the page instead of the start, I realize thais are hopeless at websites etc but this is rediculous unless you are actually using thais to work on the pages

Trump's 'huge lie' shows 'he’s taking everyone for an idiot': analysis
seajae replied to simple1's topic in Political Soapbox
You really need to stop repeating the BS playing out on leftist new sites, just watched a live braodcast on NBC and they are saying that the economy and cost of living under biden/democrats was the reason trump won, they are a leftist new site and are saying that it is real and that people are suffering, kind of kills the BS you are spooking. Shows how pathetic the rusted ons really are trying to make up more BS -
Trump Moves Forward with Hardline Immigration Strategy
seajae replied to Social Media's topic in World News
so going by your rhetoric when people are born to poor parents they have the right to steal from rich people because its not their fault they were not born to rich parents and they need to be able to live like rich people. You are trying to make an absolute crazy claim but expected from the left, no one has any rights granted to them for being born in various countries, what they do have is the right tom try to improve their lot in life as long as it is done legally. Becoming an illegal immigrant is not included in this otherwise we would see countries all around the world being taken over which we have seen happening until the countries concerned put a stop to it. Every country has a right to defend its borders to protect its citizens especially when the ones coming in illegally are responsible for a lot of the crime committed as well as a lot of unsavoury things happening on the streets. For the left trying to tug on peoples heart strings to push their BS such as what you have sprooked is common and part of their play book but it doesnt hold water, you want to emmigrate then do it legally. -
Dugong dilemma: Thailand’s gentle sea giants face extinction risk
seajae replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
unfortunately thais simply dont care, they have no problen destroying their habitat for financial gains for themselves, they totally ignore any protected areas and do as they please, animals come last on anything thais want to do. The government does very little to help, they do not get patrols going to ensure they are protected because they do not want to spend the momey, they do not enforce protected areas stopping illegal netting etc, all they care about is how much money they can make from it all, you only have to look at how pathetic the police force is not doing their jobs to realize that nothing gets done in regard to protecting animals and when they do catch someone they are let off with a small fine and a slap on the wrist or if rich nothing happens to them. -
Increase in food poisoning in 2023 to 2024 - supporting statistics?
seajae replied to kwilco's topic in Health and Medicine
I have suffered from food poisoning a few times while travelling around Thailand, little country places have caused the worst cases while city shops havent been as bad while street food can be a gamble, We usually only eat at places where locals tend to eat when travelling although sometimes you dont have a lot of options. From what I have noticed it would appear that the quality of the ingredients has dropped and the way it is stored but there are some shops where they do not like the idea of throwing away older or suspect food past the use by. While the majority of shops do the right thing some do not want to lose out on any profit but for me the cases have not increased greatly -
Trump's Authoritarian Revolution -- Be Ready, It's Coming Soon
seajae replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
This just shows how far dems will go to push their BS especially when things do not go their way, out comes the scare campaign because they cannot accept they lost, truly pathetic but typical of dem supporters -
new Wise account details, bank says fraud
seajae replied to seajae's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
to update, I have contacted Wise and they have said the Australian banks are not updating the BSB numbers fast enough to have my new BSB in their lists of accepted bsb's, my bank is going to give me a call next week to talk to me about it so will update again after I have spoken to my bank. I did get notified 2 months ago but it was after my transfer so I dint worry about it, this week I checked before my transfer and was given the new details which would mean my bank is a few months behind in updating bsb's which is a bit strange. Emails from Wise to my queries are being sent from EMAIL REMOVED so it does look genuine -
actually if you bothered to read news from non leftist/neutral new sites in the US and other countries that dont push the dem BS you would see that many of those that voted for trump do not like trump himself but much prefer his policies. Many of those were also dem voters originally that have seen the US going down the toilet under biden/harris and want it to go back the way it was under trump, might not be what the rusted on dem lovers want but you cannot ignore the facts/truth all the time just to push your own play book
-
strange that everything involving finances/money/stocks in the US and in some othet countries is jumping with trumps win, seems the financial people think trump is better at leading the country, the problem is the ingrained hatred of the left for anyone that does not agree with them. Hopefully we will see a much better US emerge from all the current BS caused by the dems and their woke leftist supporters
