Thai Officials Announce "Innovative" Expat Health Measure
Dmaxdan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
A couple of posters including with myself suggested that this was an April fool's joke very early on after this topic was first published. However, our posts were mysteriously removed...thus proving hands down it was all a wind up. -
Age-old Question: Would you rather have been born a girl?
Dmaxdan replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
It's no longer that simple. There are now officially 72 genders amongst the world's human population. Personally, and I know that in this day and age that this is incredibley boring but I 100% identify as a man. And because of this I like actual 100% proper ladies. Sooooo....in answer to the OP's question, no I couldn't imagine or indeed want to be anything other than a proper bloke. -

Exactly what sort of workout did you have in mind when you joined? Because it might be more of a walk out than a workout once they get to know you. -
Chiang Mai Immigration Requiring Your Monthly Income?
Dmaxdan replied to jeffandgop's topic in Chiang Mai
The OP clearly states that his agent had requested this, not CM immigration directly. If this was an actual new requirement at CM immigration then there would be numerous reports of this from expats who have renewed their extensions recently. Particularly those who don't use agents. I live in Chiang Mai and I've not heard anything relating to this, not even on the Chiang Mai Facebook expats page. Personally, I think that the OP's agent is just fishing for information. Trying to find out how much money their clients are bringing into the country each month. And using immigration as an excuse to ask personal money related questions. They are probably looking partnering up with a financial advisor and moving into the taxation game. We all know this is going to happen. -

Drunk driver kills traffic officer in hit-and-run on Rama 4 Road

For who? The police officer? -
Last year my wife was looking at buying a new Yamaha Grand Filano. The Yamaha website quoted that the top spec hybrid version was 68,500. In reality the dealerships were asking in excess of 85,000! This was in Chiang Mai. And that wasn't the farang price because a friend of my wife called someone she knew who worked at one of the dealerships.

Don't forget to tell her that if she is receiving regular money from abroad it now has to be at the Thai revenue department. If I, as a foreigner have to declare all income that I bring into Thailand then so should all the Thai people who are receiving "sponsorship" money from abroad... There are several that live around me who receive monthly sums to take care of half Farang children.

I can't find it either. And I have no intention of downloading it from anywhere other than the Google play store.

I have a Brother laser printer (scanner copier) simply because I don't use it very often and it never dries out or becomes blocked. It's ready to go any time I need it.

Because it is a popular pastime of those who are not terrified of having a loving commitment to another human being.

Was this to obtain your first Thai license or renew an existing one? Because if you are renewing at CM then there is no need to book an online appointment because there is a separate counter that deals with foreigners. I did mine (5year) last year and was in and out within one hour

Thai teachers pierce lips of 36 kids over gum mischief
Dmaxdan replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Because they majority of Thai people only care about money, they won't demand justice for their kids. They will just see it a an opportunity for financial compensation. -
No she doesn't simply because non of what is written here is relevant to her life. This is a forum for expats, not for Thai people.
