  1. Naivety appears to be the problem here. If something sounds to good to be true....then it probably is.
  2. What are their names? Hatari and Sharp?
  3. Are you referring to the younger age groups? Because when I was in my teens, twenty's and most of my thirty's I could have eaten everything you mention by the bucket load and never put on an ounce of weight. They probably have naturally very fast metabolisms.
  4. Same. We are Chiang Mai based and the router showing internet but not receiving any data really confused me! I've never seen that before. The website, call centers and membership app all appear to be down as well. This is clearly a major outrage for 3bb.
  5. I have my own built in alarm clock. It's called my bladder and it wakes me up at pretty much bang on 5:30 every morning. Which is an ideal time to start my exercise routine.
  6. Why does it bother you what others do? Personally I will still wear a mask where it is required and sometimes out of respect for those I'm interacting with.
  7. Hang on. I thought he'd only returned to fill the vacant PM job?
  8. I did my marriage extension at CM about 3 weeks ago with a 2 year old KR 2 (not a KR 22) with no problems what do ever. In fact 2 years ago the immigration officer we dealt with actually gave me back to original stamped copy and told me go and photocopy it and keep the original for the following year.
  9. Perhaps you need to be a good person to truly appreciate what is good about Thailand?
  10. The greatest British chat show host of them all. R.I.P.
  11. No. For the most part I have always found them to be very understanding of my potential ignorance to their cultural ways.
  12. I had mine mailed to me for 60 baht back in June. I would imagine this hasn't changed since then.
  13. Do you mean your phone's personal hotspot? If so, just got to your phone's settings, do a search for hotspot and it should display the phone's username and password under configuration or similar. Obviously you have to turn it on as well.
  14. Some Farangs might encourage their Thai spouse to have a "prolonged absence"
  15. You've jinxed it now! We also have an Electrolux kettle which is about three years old. It has out lived all the previous kettles that I have owned in 14 years of living in Thailand. And that includes a 2000 baht one I bought from Power buy which died within a year.
  16. I might be mistaken but I think he has problems with his kettle, not his old fella...
  17. There is only a small percentage of Thais that are interested in foreigners. Basically the ones who choose to travel and then work in the places where foreigners tend to gather. The wolves follow the sheep... The majority have zero interest in us because they have way more interesting things to occupy themselves. We are completely irrelevant within their lives.
  18. Attached is the current requirements from Bangkok's immigration office. However, your local immigration office may do things a little differently... For example, I transferred my extension stamps to my new British passport earlier this year at the Chiang Mai office. But I didn't need a certificate from the embassy and the application form was completely different from the Bangkok one.
  19. Perhaps you are one of those people who is determined to find fault with everything, no matter what.
  20. It's the nursing of the hangover that causes people to be lazy the following morning.
  21. I'm always trying to relive my youth. The problem is I no longer get asked to prove my age when I buy some booze... In fairness, I'm still exactly the same person I was then only my hair is a little greyer.
  22. They much prefer to buy meat from the local markets because the thousands flies crawling over it apparently adds extra flavor.
