  1. I believe you can now do this online although I have no experience of doing it myself. https://tm30.io/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAr8eqBhD3ARIsAIe-buN9A2NmsI_A3jbOqiqMxvkL8atWmp2nViw6TQnSNgI1BuRNRIfqflgaAl-4EALw_wcB
  2. I wouldn't know because I have never dated a city woman. For the simple reason that I'm nowhere near rich enough.
  3. Bring it on. This seems to be the hottest November that I can remember within the 14 years of living here in Chiang Mai provence.
  4. You are as nutty as a squirrel turd.
  5. You could try here. https://wvsthailand.org/en/ They always used to deal with cats as well as dogs.
  6. I like traditional Thai food. As with pretty much any country, if you find the places where the locals eat you won't go far wrong.
  7. As I had to Google what bogan meant I can't possibly be one. And I don't like or do any of the afore mentioned things.
  8. Very reassuring.... So will the TBA be prepared to take full responsibility for any unauthorized withdrawals from your bank account?
  9. No self respecting zombie would be seen dead in the UK these days...
  10. Firstly, you need to have Google account. Then when you turn the new phone on for the first time you will be given an option to login to your account and download all your previously installed apps, photos and saved passwords etc. You are effectively cloning your old phone. Be aware that to the complete the process can take an hour plus so you need to be patient. It's all stored in the cloud you know....!
  11. Gold Member. I didn't even know I was in Austin Powers!
  12. I wasn't aware that there was such a thing as an "unrepairable car" in Thailand, no matter how much it has been mangled. The Insurance companies don't like paying out for write offs. its cheaper to repair it even if it's scattered across the road in a thousand pieces.
  13. You missed out the Hiso wannabes who make up about 95% of the population.
  14. I subscribe to Netflix and as far as I'm aware most, if not all Netflix made TV shows and movies are available here. That includes everything in English. And contrary to popular belief these shows are not heavily edited either. If you want new, non Netflix movies then you need to look elsewhere.
  15. You may not be able to uninstall some preloaded system apps.
  16. Try this.... Settings > apps > see all apps. Then select the app you wish to delete and select uninstall.
  17. Drivers loosing control of their vehicle is what scares me most about driving on Thai roads.
  18. So you've just had an accident, been knocked unconscious, woken up and this guy is standing over you. I'm guessing your first thought is going to be "Oh cr@p, I'm dead and I'm in hell"!
  19. Who ever murdered him may have hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door after they left.
  20. I think you've only think back to the COVID days for your answer. "Farangs are dirty and are the cause of the pandemic" "No farangs should not be offered vaccines" Etc,etc, etc. They showed their true colors....
  21. It was probably one of his body doubles...
  22. I take it there was no CCTV at the traffic lights where you were hit? Because if there was the police (if they can be bothered) might have a chance of apprehending the cowardly little turd that did this. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  23. You may be exempt from paying any tax full stop. Particularly if you hail from a country that that has a taxation agreement in place with Thailand. Nobody knows yet because nothing that is relevant to most expats has been clarified yet, despite what the so called experts will tell you. So far it's nothing more than another Thailand train wreck.
  24. None of the above. My wife was "given" a crash helmet and jacket earlier this year when she bought a new Honda motorcycle. Since then she has worn both and so far neither has fallen apart.
