Firstly, you need to have Google account. Then when you turn the new phone on for the first time you will be given an option to login to your account and download all your previously installed apps, photos and saved passwords etc. You are effectively cloning your old phone. Be aware that to the complete the process can take an hour plus so you need to be patient. It's all stored in the cloud you know....!

I subscribe to Netflix and as far as I'm aware most, if not all Netflix made TV shows and movies are available here. That includes everything in English. And contrary to popular belief these shows are not heavily edited either. If you want new, non Netflix movies then you need to look elsewhere.

You may not be able to uninstall some preloaded system apps.

Try this.... Settings > apps > see all apps. Then select the app you wish to delete and select uninstall.

You may be exempt from paying any tax full stop. Particularly if you hail from a country that that has a taxation agreement in place with Thailand. Are you trying to cram to much into the freezer compartment? You should always leave space at the back so that the vents are clear. And what number setting are you using on the controls? Some people fall into the trap of thinking that because Thailand is hot you need to turn the refrigerator controls up to the max. The problem maybe because the fridge is working too hard causing ice is forming on the fan. Before calling a engineer I would try turning it off for a few hours so it can defrost and then turn the controls to a lower number.

Then you need to change the language which can no longer be done directly on your TV. You need to login to your account on HBO's website or smart phone app to do this. For the record, this is HBO Go looks like on my TV.

English is the default language on all the US/British produced movies and TV series that are available HBO Thailand. And has been for the three years or so that I've had a subscription through 3BB. Whether you can get the Thai made movies in English is another matter. I can honestly say I've never looked.

If you can't find kosher salt then Himalayan pink salt (which is readily available online and in shops) is a viable alternative.
