Would they allow Heineken zero?  Not too bad after the first mouthful.

My hotel would not allow it. I have never tried it, so I figured would be a good time to do so. So I asked hotel and they said no alcoholic beverages allowed. I replied that it was zero alcohol beer as in no alcohol. They said doesn't matter, no alcohol allowed. I gave up at that point. TIT

Be careful what you wish for. Biden will probably send USA to war again, the libs will screech about minority rights and attack the silent majority, and the debt will go up and up and the libs tears will go down and down. The pendulum will, inevitably, swing back one day. Biden is a much nicer man than Trump, undoubtedly, but he's going to be a figurehead as he fumbles his way through his 4 years (if he makes it to the end).

Much nicer than Trump? Is that so?

Lying dog faced pony soldier. I don't work for you. Look, fat man, Liar.

    Yep real nice guy.

  3. Beijing has basically the same requirements with one small exception:

#5 -  I needed to show only 75 days hotel accommodation at hotel after ASQ hotel. ASQ hotel 15 days + subsequent hotel 75 days = 90 days visa entry

On another note; if you show a copy of a lease for a condo that you intend to stay in after the ASQ hotel, they will possibly ask for a copy the Landlord's ID card and his tax ID number. My landlord understandably refused with the tax ID number. So, I used Agoda to book a hotel. Agoda has useful policies......

If you don't already possess a valid visa (that's eligible for you to apply for a COE) - most RTEs (and I say most, because different RTEs around the world are running with slightly different variations of requirements locally) will require you to submit a paid ASQ booking and COVID insurance as part of your visa application.

    The Beijing Embassy required both

The four scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland) are offering STV.

But you need to have a passport of the low-risk country where you are applying.

Note: Applying for the STV is only indicated when

    - NOT married to a Thai national, OR

    - under 50 years of age.

When you meet 1 of these requirements (also when applying from a high-risk country) there are other - easier - options to get hold of the COE.

I assume you mean the O-A Retirement visas and their onerous requirements like the Police report and medical certificate? Where I am, it would take 4 months just to satisfy their terms on the police report. Go to police station and give prints and apply, wait, pickup and take to Notary public for translation, wait, pick up and take to Ministry of Consular affairs for authentification, wait, pickup and take to Thai Embassy for their Authentification. Wait again. 4 months estimated total.

No matter how I contact them, I can't reach them.

    E mail...

    Phone number...

    Facebook messsenger...

Here is a little secret: take a look at their webpage and on the bottom right corner you will see something like "for Thai" and there will be a phone number written in Thai numerals or Thai script. Copy that number, go to google translate and then call that particular number. They will answer, thinking it is a Thai citizen. Then continue from there......

  7. After trying for several days I finally got an answer when calling the Thai Long Stay Company. I had sent in an application for a STV two weeks ago and had not heard back. The fellow on the phone told me point blank that the Thai Government has not approved any STVs as of yet and they were still waiting for the first approvals. That is for all applications from all countries. He was quite clear on that.
