I solved this issue with money hungry hoes a long time ago. It's simple. I always tell them: listen i am not your dad therefore I am not responsible for your well being nor in financial terms neither in any other ways. To be honest I don't see it the way you do that it's a must for the man to give money to the woman. I think you are going to pay me or nobody is going to pay anybody. If you think otherwise then go ahead and find a sucker who is going to believe you and your immature games. There are plenty of them out there but I am not one of them so act accordingly.

I mean b....please, what the hell posessed your mind when you came up with this idea that you will have access to my money just because we had some fun? I gave you, you gave me. That's it.

Messing with the fuel and mixing it etc is in my opinion pointless as he might sell it instead of using it so you are going to cause someone else problems. I would just wait for him and beat him up so bad that he wouldn't be able to steal anything anymore. But you might want to resort to a more subtle solution and that is: install cctv and yes it might cost a few grand but then you are going to have peace of mind. And if he steals fuel from you 10 times that is already close to a thousand baht. So overtime he will make you regret that you did not invest in a camera so you can go to the police and provide evidence and say this man keeps kamoying my fuel.

I do not agree with the mai pen rai attitude neither I said do not do anything against corruption. Do everything they can against it, I was not suggesting otherwise. But the people who do have the power to change the situation are the ones who are corrupt and evil and it is in their best interest to maintain the status quo. That is the very reason nothing is changing. All I was saying is that unfortunately a journalist or some average joe is not going to change anything. When they try to do so, they are going to be dealt with. Just think about that military guy back in 2010 who was ordered to shut up but he didn't and arranged an interview with an american journalist to provide info he was not supposed to. He was executed by a sniper while being interviewed.

Again, I am not saying that one should act like a sheep and say nothing. I simply stated a fact regarding to how it works.

I have had bad experiences downloaded TV and movies from Torrent sites.  I seem to get all sorts of junk I don't want.  I use Firefox and the last time I did a download, I even got a Firefox page that I could not minimize or terminate.  So, I had to delete and reinstall Firefox.

 

As a related aside, I use the free version of Advanced System Care - has anyone upgraded to the pay version and did you find it was worth it and that it helped prevent stuff like the above.

To be honest I dont really understand the journalist guy. And all the others who made the same mistake in the past and made moves against something that is much bigger than them. The guy knows that officials, authority figures etc are extremely corrupt and as it was clearly stated in the message: when dogs are cornered they have to fight. If you go against them, there will be battle..and they are going to win. So why not write about something else? Writing about this matter is not going to change the situation anyway. It only does one thing: asks for trouble.

And when he is in trouble he runs to the cops. The same people we are talking about, the corrupt ones.

I am sure they are going to help him. Sometimes people do not make any sense to me.

Why buy used when depreciation is so low here. Spend a bit more and have piece of mind.

Buy something nice for 400,000 baht which cost 2 million baht just a few years before...

 

Different Thread a guy has lost over 800,000 in 3 years on a Volvo, so if he wanted a faceless base tin can he could have bought 2 new ones just on the depreciation..

You seem to be quite educated on the subject. Would you be so kind and provide me with a few suggestions regarding to buying a used car with low mileage and in good condition. I have questions in mind like: which brands are good in terms of reliability, easy service and hassle free parts changing if needed? I need a reliable car for city use mostly, sometimes long distance. I dont like those tiny chick cars like the Nissan Tiida, I prefer bigger ones.

Also, you mentioned earlier that a used car equipped with all the good stuff like leather, ABS etc is possible to find in this price range. Would you make a few suggestions please, which brands or models specifically and what to watch out for?

I think the great part is that all the young cuties spend half of their lives in malls nowadays because they need to be seen. So I dont need to drag my ass to different places all around the city to hook up with them. I just drive to the mall and I have access to hundreds if not thousands of them at the same place.

I suppose the reason behind no traces of a fight were found is simply because they found bones and his skull which means he died a little while ago. So if there was any fight, the traces are long gone.

Just sold my Ford Escape, one of the reasons was the terrible and expensive service at the dealer. American Motors (that should be enough info to know one is heading towards trouble as Amercian Motors, AMC, is the name of a diferemt car company that use to make Jeep) is the name of the local dealer who operates both the Ford sales and service centers in CM. The one in town is on the outside of the moat. The service guys have broken things and just fixed with tape hoping I wouldn't notice and even returned my car with the air cleaner in upside down so the hood would not fully closed. Then they built a new fancy building near Rimping/Rumchook with the intention of having thier English speaking customers go. The few service managers they have had speak English but don't not know anything about cars, I consider myself not very mechanically inclined and found myself to be much more informed then them. They keep very little in stock so unless it's a oil change etc.one has to put down a deposit and then they get the part from BKK and then it takes days to fix a 2 hr job. even a small thing they needed car all day so very inconvenient to be stuck out there. Just take a look in the service bays and 1 of the 10 mechanics usually are working at any one time. When I wanted a regular service, but a big one like 100,000 km they have no idea what that is and I had to print up a list of what needs to be done off the Internet and give it to them. As for other non-dealers not many know Ford like Toyota etc. so never had any luck with that either. I really liked the car and wanted to buy a new Ford but could not imagine being held hostage by the monopoly that is the local representative here.

They are so infatuated with Toyota and Honda, well okay they know Isuzu as well that I would expect it to be difficult to deal with other brands. Unless you are in Bkk of course, there they have all kinds of services but it takes years to get to the dealership or car service because of the light traffic.

This seems to have been a relatively easy job which is the way Thai officialdom likes it however $800,000 is a drop in the ocean compared to the assets he is claimed to have amassed.

Hoever remember the story goes that his bank accounts were only frozen after he had emptied most of them.

Regarding to fish oil your best bet is a pharmacy. Walk into any as it does not make a difference which one you buy at. They are in constant competition with each other so they always change the prices a bit, usually by a few baht. You are going to find the usual thai brands like Megacare or imported stuff. There is no point to pay more for the imported stuff as the selling of these supplements are strictly regulated so you are going to get FDA approved clean stuff anyway. I use Megacare and its good. The DHA and EPA content is a bit lower than you suggested but you are going to find the same with other brands as well. Just pop two instead of one and the problem is solved. It's not going to cost more if you take more from those lower in the before mentioned content as the others that are higher in DHA and EPA are more expensive.

The pharmacy next to Starbucks at Thapae gate is a good one. They store all kinds of things and they usually have promotions.

It is ridiculous that she was quick to upload it just to destroy to restaurant's otherwise good reputation instead of talking to the manager and probably having that meal for free and forget it.

This happened to me in different countries at the most upscale places and she cries about some Sabushi lol.

These or other animals cannot be entirely wiped out so we are not going to see them again. It happens. But these spoiled b....es always find something to moan about.

I am looking for a second hand car in Cm.

A well maintained pickup truck or a city car in good condition, automatic.

Without accidents or any major incidents. Preferably a few years old, up to approx 400k.

If anybody(except agents)is selling such car please let me know.

Thailand 30 years later: there are rip off machines placed all over the city, one only need to insert a coin in order to get a bright idea generated by the machine for that day, regarding how to rip off a farang. If the coin used is one that was taken out of a foreign pocket, they get a bonus idea.

Carrying a sword is legal as you need to cut yourself through the overwhelming amount of electric cables everytime you leave your home.

The gem shops and massage parlors, bars etc are non existent as you dont have a choice if you want to walk into one of those establishments. They visit you at home and refuse to leave until you pay+tip. There is no corruption. But there is an injection that makes you willing to support authorities or whoever is in need. You can buy land, house anything and own it 100%. The government automatically inherits everything after 3 years. The mosquitoes that are infected with dengue are now smart. They fly around in groups and hunt you down. If you kill one it doesn't die. Instead it multiplies and retaliates. Upon arrival at the airport you are warned of all the possible dangers..in thai.

I ve experienced such things so many times that I say something in thai and they act like they dont understand. It is simply because thais do not like seeing foreigners trying to integrate into the society and speaking the language is a clear sign of that. But it doesn't bother me, I usually let them know that I know they speak thai therefore they understand me even if I have an accent. So it's either they stop refusing to understand me or we are going to sit there all day until they start to speak their language. They always get the point.

My ex gf is from a wealthy family. She is highly educated and is fluent in english. She literally hated if I spoke thai and it bothered her. But she was not alone with that insecurity. I have met several people who share the same trait. I have always felt for them.

Regarding to directions, I am surprised most of them are able to find their way back home.

But dont get me wrong, I like thais. They are cool. But it's just the way they are.
