I would not go back to find out what happened to Tony because it's pretty obvious. What I would do is talk to a few folks in that town to see if anyone took pics about the signs. Then I would take the pictures and go to the cops. I would tell them that this guy was advertising his pub that it's going to open soon then when it finally opened he disappeared. I would let them know that I was tipped off and its possible that he was murdered and he sleeps with the fishes..in the swamp. They would sure dig the shit up to find it out as they are required to do so and would question the owner and staff of the pub. As a result, there is a good chance that they would be able to find the guy..probably not alive though.

I would also go back and tell my mom not to waste my time with school because the education system sucks.

First of all poor girl is only 20. I have never seen a responsible 20 year old driver who was able to drive properly. So she should have just taken the bus. Secondly, this annoying habit of thai drivers: I just realized that I had to take a u turn while at the junction already so I quickly switched lanes without looking around because I haven't realized yet that I am not the only driver out there...caused so many fatal accidents already that they should notice an emerging pattern here and stop repeating the same mistake over and over again.

Cool. It has been announced by the police dep. peviously that most accidents are caused by thais who are drunk, think they own the roads and violate traffic laws even tho they are well aware of them. So now they are going to target foreigners to reduce the number of accidents that are mostly caused by careless thai drivers who got their licenses for 400thb after being able to tell the difference btw the steering wheel and the windshield to the instructor.

I believe it is going to solve the problem.

Must have been the penthouse. When my wife was in for 4 nights and I was allowed to stay in the room with her, slept on the couch.Nice room with fridge and daily delivery of the Bangkok Post. Cost per night was 1,100 baht. Surely the 20K baht included other services.

Yes it was an expensive room. I had dengue and wanted to suffer in style. The room was spacious and nice I liked it. But sure, the 20k included other fees as well.

I ve never been in such relationship. Thats my personal experience. However I have experienced things in my environment that made it clear to me that other people were or are in such relationships and asked their opinion. That's what experience.

My wonderful Thai wife, never a BG, but a university educated computer programmer, had a psychotic break down after living 6 years in the US with me.

 

I had recently lost my job, ( contributing factor?) and our medical insurance.

 

Two month of medical treatment in the US and all my savings were gone and expenses were  piling up fast.

 

We decided to relocate to our house in Thailand where medical treatment was reasonable and they actually treated her, not just doped her up like the US doctors  did. for a very high price!

 

Now, two years later, my wife is 98% recovered, thanks to good Thai doctors.

 

We are still in a financial crisis, but can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I estimate that in two more years, we should be o.k. financially.

 

Please excuse me, but, when you talk about people being "crazy", it is not a topic that is amusing.

 

Mental illness is real and very serious.

 

I have not told you the half of the repercussions of this tragic incident.

 

Please be kind and refrain in finding amusement in the pain and suffering mental illness brings to many of us!

I understand your point and I am sorry if I have offended you or anybody else. But let make it clear once again: I did not say I find it amusing when people get hurt. Neither I stated that I find it funny when someone has some kind of mental illness or the pain caused by it to the ill person and her beloved ones. When I said crazy, I was not talking about mentally ill people but mentally healthy folks who cannot behave properly when they dont get their way or get pissed for whatever reason.
