    Yep and if Simon hadn't had the insurance in the first place he could have used the savings to pay for treatment. He would have needed to self insure even if BPH was disclosed

    Shady though an insurance company cancelling insurance, they could have just denied the claim. Sounds like they are allowed to do it but shady all the same

    I think living the dream businesses such as bars, indian restaurants aren't the same as businesses like 7 Eleven that seem to follow normal rules

    Most people are switching from OA to O to avoid the insurance requirements, so best to avoid getting an OA

    I reckon the insurer realised this could get expensive and found a way to terminate the policy. They use an alleged undisclosed preexisting condition to cancel the whole policy, their gamble is most expats won't take it further

    Pattaya doesn't follow normal demand and supply principles, one poor performing bar sells to a poor sucker who wants to live the dream of minging bar ownership and bar girl girlfriend, they run out of money and sell to the next sucker and so it continues, that's why there is oversupply of bars, same story Indian restaurants now

    That's just luck, maybe you stayed in a lot, may have been a different story if you'd got covid. Have you had flu recently? for me far worse than covid, i can see very elderly struggling hence flue vaccines

    I honestly think more carbs would improve your mood, boost your serotonin, eating big lumps of meat and coke for dinner followed by a block of cheese for dessert can't be good for you
