I ordered a nice one from lazada and was happy with the results. Probably want to pay over 10,000 baht if you want a decent one.
Can you upload a picture? And perhaps a Lazada link? How can I order one on lazada? I don't have a Thai credit or debit card.

Do people still name their children Dick? Or maybe people just nicknamed him Dick? That wouldn't excuse the 16 stab wounds, but it would go a long way towards explaining them.

Hi gang,
My wife and I usually spend a month now and then in our condo in Jomtien. We love it, but we miss our sports.
How can we get high speed internet on a month-to-month basis in Jomtien?
Thanks.

He goes to the room, thinking he's gotten lucky with someone he's met at a party. The gentleman with the women's clothing discusses with him the fee for sex. He disagrees. The guy with gender dysphoria pushes him over the side in a fit of hormonal rage.
Thai police are stupid, and don't want to investigate this as a homicide.
Case closed. Those farang sure love jumping off balconies.

Ok, this is just sh!tty reporting. The "attack" actually happened near the Alcazar. One of the guys was dressed up as a construction worker as he is in a Village People tribute band. The other two were not Burmese, but dark skinned Isaan guys. It was not a woman was attacked, but a long haired man with no muscles (think most Europeans). And, yes, there were no shouts or screams as he was enjoying the impromptu get together in the glory hole bathroom.
Case closed!

First off, there's a lot of naive tourists who think that part of their glorious first experience overseas is to become friendly wnd familiar with the locals. I have seen white chicks hugging people they don't even know like it is some wonderful connection they've just made with Somchai the local Thai guy or the fruit lady. This is idiotic.
Secondly, lengthy conversations with foreign construction workers from an even poorer country than the poor country you are visiting is a stupid thing to get into. And as the boyfriend, it is my responsibility to shut the sh!t down. If they are eyeing up my girlfriend, they are either going to get punched or probably I'd insist we walk away.
Last, the boyfriend sat there whilst the girlfriend was followed to the bathroom by all three? The family of that woman should make sure she never sees him again or he is under the ground.

I think the danger in helping is that other Thai men will decide they can start to attack you. It's like when there is a dog fight, other dogs will reflexively attack.

Great advice but I am at a loss what to do for the other 40 minutes.
You get out of the way and let the girls go at it.

It is 20,000 US dollars. More requires you to declare it to Thai customs.
$20,000 per person? Are you sure? And I do not need to declare that amount?

Just walk away. Don't talk to her and do not contact her again. She had lied to you about everything, but you still hold out hope that some of what she says is now the truth? Absurd.
In life, bad people prey on good people by using their good and decent hearts against them. The baby will be ok growing up in, I am guessing Isaan. There is nothing you can do for the baby except sending money to a lying a cheating woman.
Is this your first marriage? I'm guessing you aren't very good with women. Next time, just keep one as a girlfriend. At the first lie, cut her loose and find another one.

Be prepared to get pulled out of the immigration line and taken to the back room, as was the case when this happened to me a few years ago at Suvarnbahumi. Be polite, smile, give an excuse, wai, and you will be sent on your way rather quickly with no fine.

No taxi driver does or is expected to take your bags across the lobby and put it into the lift. If your leg is broken and you politely request for help, Thais are very considerate and friendly, will gladly do it. Then you can give him a tip with smiles all around. But if you behave as if you are a superior human by virtue of being born a farang & expect them to be subserviant, they know how to bring you down to reality.
Oh, yes....I am a superior human by virtue of the pins in my ankle. The wincing he heard as i got into, and struggled to get out of, his taxi was my superiority, obviously. Most decent humans would have helped me up four stairs to the
lift. That little bit of humanity would have cost twenty seconds. And it was a taxi service, not a taxi company. I should have asked for help from someone too lazy to help? No.

Why not follow such drivers to their destination and beat the sh!t out of them? Then call an ambulance and drive in front of it.

Up to you.
Why should he pull over? He didn't know the guy who was dying. Maybe he was in a hurry to get home and watch some brain dead drama on TV. Maybe he hadn't eaten a meal in three hours and was in distress himself.
You peole are so unwilling to understand the many reasons why he would not pull over.

When are you expected to tip in Thailand? And is this because Thais tip in these situations as well or are you expected to tip because you are a farang?
I recently used a taxi service to get from the airport to my condo. The taxi driver kept talking about himself and smiling. I got the feeling he was trying to angle for a tip. When we got to the condo, he puts the two big bags on the concrete. I am in a walking boot cast as my leg is hurt. I paid him, but no tip. He looks at the money, then gets an angry look on his face, get into the car and drives off without looking at me or saying anything, leaving me to drag the bags up the stairs. If he had carried or helped to carry the bags to the elevator, I would have given him a tip. I didn't get how he expected a tip for not helping with the bags.

Fend off the shark?
"Aren't you afraid of shark attacks?!"
"Not to worry; I have a snorkeling mask."
"Oh, alright then."

Two things stand out about this:
1. Thai authorities tried to lie about the attack and claim that he fell on the rocks, in a vain attempt to protect Thailand's pristine image as a tourist destination.
2. How the <deleted> does a shark swim in plastic and other garbage Thais throw into the gulf?
