Freedom of speech is one thing. It is not what this guy did though to attract the attention on himself leading to his problems now in the US. Although he idd not break any police laws. He demonstrated his intentions to follow terrorism as well as try to coerce others to follow Hamas making him a national threat. He is deportable. What surprises me is why the government is allowing this drawn out show of resistance? They should have taken him and deported him immediately and let him try to fight it from outside the US. Now, all the crazies are gathering to support him which have created even more problems as well as threats to the nation and its people.

Just like you while here in Thailand. You can live peacefully without causing any problems. but the minute you do something that attracts or instigates problems. Speaking out at a rally is even enough, would get the immigration to make a decision whether to allow you to continue staying here. What difference does it make if you are married to a citizen? You may not violate the laws but you did violate the rules of your visa and of your stay in Thailand. The USA has more rules than here. They just rarely invoke them. But this guy did bad things. Instigating hate and promoting terrorism. He surely violated the rules of his stay in the country. Hence should be thrown out with visa or green card cancelled. I am curious as to why you do not know this as an expat living abroad? You know there are things we can do and things we can not or should not that have nothing to do with the country's laws but still would invoke the wrath of immigration.

Tourist Brawl in Jomtien Sparks Growing Concerns Over Pattaya Image
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Tourist Brawl in Jomtien Sparks Growing Concerns Over Pattaya Image Haha a few street brawls from drunks does nothing to tarnish Pattayas image. Those ladyboys robbing foreigners. Street fights with Thai ladyboys angry a foreigner does not want or like them, teens robbing and beating foreigners to get money to fix their bike, security in packs beating down foreigners who are drunk, these are the things to rui the city's reputation.. Which by no means is a good reputation anyway. Corrupt police. Laws applied to foreigners but not to Thais as well as more severe punishments for minor indiscretions. Pattaya's reputation has nothing to fear from a measly street brawl amongst foreigners. -
British Retirees Escape Thai Jail After Violent Land Dispute
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
They got lower by making charges against the old couple years later. Desperate for money and pissed they had to pay damages to the old couple for their assault. Those 2 should have been put in a prison rather than settling monetarily with the old couple. Just goes to show you how twisted the law system is in Thailand. -

Russia Rejects Trump's Temporary Ukraine Ceasefire Offer

Teenager Stabs Friend to Death at Birthday Party Near Pattaya

too bad.. in america if a 17 year old commits premeditated murder. He can be tried as an adult. Perhaps in thailand they can wait for trial a year to make him legal to try as an adult also. haha... his crime was horrible and he is not fit to remain alive or allowed a chance for freedom to commit such a crime again. -
The OP is generally using this as an opportunity to show his hate for Trump. This is obvious. The topic about Trump issuing a 200% tariff is his excuse to post such a topic. So let's look around the OPs hate for Trump.. The name Champagne is controlled by France. It is expensive to buy in the USA. Most households would never buy it in their lifetime. Although they may try a glass that someone bought for a party or event. So basically, it is a middle to upper class alcohol. Whereas, lots of people buy the sparkling wine made elsewhere. Here is the difference in the 2.. The name whiskey is used mostly by the US. It is bought by all classes of people around the world. It is not expensive although some brands are priced more than others due to name and quality. France does make whiskey since the 1980s. But their quality lacks experience compared to the US who has been making it for hundreds of years. For the French, impsoning a 50% tariff on whisky will make sales drop there significantly. Simply because of the cost. Whereas Trumps 200% tariff will drop sales of the champagne. Due to the significance of the amount of sales and the selling prices of both. The 200% tariff makes sense. The 50% tariff will not hurt the average household as most would not buy a French champagne anyway due to the cost. The 200% tariff on whiskey may affect those lower class and middle class in France though. I think the idea of it makes sense. The point of it all is that these tariffs have been in effect for some time already in the form of taxes and with an unfair balance. Trump is trying to even the scales of import and export costs. It has been very one-sided with the US on the lower part of the scales.

I guess he showed him how wrong he was. Now this man will go far for a long time. In prison. He may even go further to HELL if they execute him for premeditated murder. -
Russia Rejects Trump's Temporary Ukraine Ceasefire Offer
thesetat replied to Social Media's topic in World News
In another news article about this...Putin is saying the reason he will not make a ceasefire is because it gives the Ukraine a chance to recoup the military but has no benefit to Russia or their military. I would say that Putin has been listening to Zelenski's rhetoric about the war being far from over and does not believe him about adhering to a ceasefire anyway. Zelenski has previously shown no interest in stopping the war. In fact he has only talked about its continuation. In this case, I also would not agree to a ceasefire while negotiations were being made. Zelenskis only cares about getting more money and military equipment from the USA. -
Thai Police Nab Gang Smuggling Chinese Nationals into Country
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Central Thailand News
I do not see how 2 people arrested driving 2 trucks constitutes a gang? The police never watch the cars driving or seek suspicious activity unless they have been tipped that someone is coming that needs to be checked. -
Dog Barking Drama: When Neighbourly Conflicts Turn Threatening
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Pretty stupid of the man to make a note and send it to the dog owner. Would have been better off remaining anonymous and just killing the dog if that is really what he wanted to do. Now he is helpless to take any action against the dog or the owner. And if he does it will surely be used against him.. -
Wow... You take a few and turn it into many. a little delusional about this i think. You should be more informed as well and begin watching news and reading news from sources that are not possessed by the leftist Dems. He only has 4 years in office. What he is doing is a drastic measure sure. But if it is not done then your trickle method would take a decade. Most of the cases filed against his actions as president are being heard. I can file a case against you for anything i choose, but does that mean I will win? You have in your head that the WH will lose in the cases made. But as long as the actions did not violate any laws, then the WH will win.

Joe Ferrari: Altered Body State Hinders Police Chief's Autopsy
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
more to the point.. We are talking about a prison cell. Not something you can force open or enter unauthorized into. -
Do you even look at what you are posting? In Jan the old man Biden was still the Prez. The highest number in all you posted. Trumps is lower than the last months of Bidens sleepy job. And here you are also comparing a whole years worth or useless statistics 2 only one month of Trumps taking over. Clearly you need to get your head out of Bidens rear and start seeing things more clearly. He has clouded your vision as well as your thinking.

Joe Ferrari: Altered Body State Hinders Police Chief's Autopsy
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It seems pretty obvious to me that they really do not want to find out what really happened. It is an extremely difficult task to strangulate yourself even by hanging. Takes a lot of nerve to do it that way... Or a lot of crazy... But the OP insinuates they thought he was sleeping and tried to wake him... If he hung himself they would have knows he was not alive. Perhaps this is just a translation problem. The most confusing part is why they waited to get medical services and then why it took over 12 hours for investigators to examine him. Also, why they did not move the body to a cooler location rather than allowing rigor mortis to set in and his body start to rot? The small animal bites could be from as simple as rats in the prison. a nip here a nip there while he was dead or asleep..Not unusual either way. I guess the best part is that the guy got his Karma fulfilled. Lifes a beach haha..
