With only about 8 teeth left in my mouth. I researched the costs for both implants and dentures. 4 implants would not be enough. If you seek implants you may want to look at the prices for implanted dentures rather than teeth. To do my mouth and make a full set of implanted teeth would have cost me over 700,000 baht. For implanted dentures the cost was about 500,000 baht. For normal dentures in both upper and lower jaw with the total amount of teeth being 13 in all. Cost was 17,000 baht. The problem with implants is that there is a waiting period for the skin around the screws implanted to heal before they can attach the teeth. Which could affect your eating habits greatly.

They only say it was an agreed upon price because the driver said so. Since no details were given and it is obvious in the OP that the foreigner did not say anything about that. That its more likely the driver is lying.

i really do not see what the problem is here. If you look at the sea in pattaya you see all types of trash and things floating in it if you can see past the oil from all the crafts that park overnight. If you swim in it you risk life and health from the raw sewage that regularly gets dumped into it locally. Basically it is a huge toilet to the Thai that live here. Since the city does not want to invest in portable toilets spread around, why dont they just put up some temp walls to hide the foreigners that need to use the sea toilet so the netizens don't get angry. I find it funny anyone would get angry unless they actually were flaunting their small equipment for all to see. I am most certain if it was a Thai needing to pee, they would have done the same. The condo I am staying in currently has a view to the sea and to the street. All night long I see people stopping on the road from their cars to pee on the side of the road. Yet, I do not see any Thai netizens complaining about their own people. Even the other night they had a police checkpoint setup and people were still stopping to pee on the side of the road. The police ignored them because thet were not foreigners. Pathetic with all the money this city has that they do not make public toilets accessible to everyone.

Im sorry... but why would they come to your home to check this? 2 reasons i am asking. 1- they have that information if you are paying already in their computer system. 2. You did not need to pay tax on anything other than income earned in Thailand previously. It only became active in 2025 that you would need to file by Mar. 31 if you have lived here longer than 180 days. So perhaps you are leaving out pertinent information to make such a comment and because of this you may be making some old-timers fearful for knocks on their doors about paying their taxes.

well... i went last week and they said i can use my old tax number they found in their system from 12 years ago in another province when i was working legally in thailand and paying tax. So i am pretty sure the information i gave is correct..

probably because of the difference between male and female strengths and weaknesses that give a trans the unfair advantage or the real woman. Which I do not think will be the case with a trans that was really a female physically.

Banning them means they can not if, the school or institution receives federal funding.. Which most do even the private ones get some form of federal funding.

Am curious. Due to the ever changing policies of immigration. Are you really going to take a chance that next year the immigration will not be looking at your passport for renewal of visa and that they will not ask if you had filed taxes during this year? I do not know if i can trust what a foreigner thinks about this simply because nothing has been shown to learn how they will find the foreigners who had not filed taxes after staying here more than 180 days.... but it would be safe to say that using immigration who would know your stay status seems the most logical way to keep track of you and learn if you filed tax or have a TIN number even. No One really knows what they will or won't do.

one quick note to everyone. If you ever worked legally in Thailand and had a tax number issued. That number is valid forever in every part of Thailand. I had not seen or used mine from teaching 13 years ago. But it was in their computers in a different province and they let me know the number again just using my name. As for as the tax laws go. Everyone needs to figure out their own situation. DTA and other tax related questions are too generalized to be of use other than the need to file if you are in Thailand more than 6 months a year. Don't let these stories written by tax lawyers scare you to pay for one yourself. They are using your vulnerability to collect money from you and may not be accurate in their versions of OPs here. It is not difficult to get the TIN #. Just bring the documents they ask for to show you are here. Passport and resident letter should be enough i think.. I am not 100% certain if more is required. But i do not think there is a fee to get a TIN #.

Well... there is bad and good in everything... For the most part though, i found my wife this way. She will making more than me monthly in her government position. The cop flashed some card in Thai trying to tell me it was the same as running a red light. I did not buy their story but eventually I had to pay to get my license back since they also violated their own laws by taking and keeping my license to drive until i paid at the checkpoint on the street. No receipt also. hmph...

then why are they claiming trafficking was done? This is Thailand. That man could have easily gotten lost in some Thai girls arms and not wanting family to know. They have nothing to suggest trafficking. In China though, many videos are coming out in their social media telling about how unsafe it is for the Chinese to travel to Thailand.

i read a lot of replies telling you about the different types of Thai woman. What i do not see are replies to how you can find a good woman to date. I would suggest first. You do not be shy to approach any woman you seem to think looked at you with a smile or that you think is in your standard. Don't be shy to ask them "me fan my " ( do you have a boyfriend ) If they reply no, ask them to dinner or some other social outing. Do not be surprised if they want family or friends with you the first time as well. A good lady may feel shy to date you alone the first time. Dating apps will work but, it takes time. You joined this group in May 2024. Have you been here a short time? To find a good woman can take years to find and there will be many failures due to what you seek in a woman. I find that women in medical or government or education and even in 7/11 are usually seeking a man who will make a good future hence they do not want you for the money but more for the security. Most good women do not go out to drink at bars. They know the type of men who go there as well. I assume you are in Bangkok as per some of your OPs. Lots of available single women there willing to date a foreigner. but they are cautious and want to see what type of person you are as well. They want a good future with stability. They do not care if you are rich but all will know you have enough money to live here which is a lot more than they have. I even met some girls by asking them if they have a BF while travelling on the subway. Get their line and make sure you chat them daily to show interest. I want to say avoid bar girls and massage girls but that is simply my preference. There are too many that are not good women for a relationship. The online apps can work for you and you will find some good women on them. But it seems lately there are more (for hire) girls there only interested in your for an hour or so. Whatever route you take. You must not be shy to say what you seek and what you expect if you meet.
