Hamas Sinks to New Lows with Hostage Body Swap
LukKrueng replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Not only children. So many of them bodies recovered after October 7th were burnt and mutilated to such an extent they could only be identified by DNA tests. What's missing in the OP is that Ariel and Kfir were murdered by hands and that their bodies were then mutilated in order for them to appear as if they were killed by bombing, trying to push the blame on the IDF. There's no bottom for how low these bustards monsters will go. Every time the world thinks they've reached the bottom they dig more and more. They must be eradicated from earth. -
Pai Locals Raise Concerns Over Chabad House Amid Security Warnings
LukKrueng replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
That's kinda blame the victim, isn't it? Before you close any synagogue or Chabad house why don't you evict all Buddhists from the 3 southern provinces? They are being targeted by Muslim militants as well. And put all women and children in protective custody as many are being targeted for rapes and other abuse. -
Anne Fausto-Sterling s suggestion that the prevalence of intersex might be as high as 1.7% has attracted wide attention in both the scholarly press and the popular media. Many reviewers are not aware that this figure includes conditions which most clinicians do not recognize as intersex, such as Klinefelter syndrome, Turner syndrome, and late-onset adrenal hyperplasia. If the term intersex is to retain any meaning, the term should be restricted to those conditions in which chromosomal sex is inconsistent with phenotypic sex, or in which the phenotype is not classifiable as either male or female. Applying this more precise definition, the true prevalence of intersex is seen to be about 0.018%, almost 100 times lower than Fausto-Sterling s estimate of 1.7%. Lifting Alcohol Restrictions Could Boost Thai Economy by Billions
LukKrueng replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So lifting the 3 hours daily no alcohol sales will bring an extra 50 - 100 billion Baht? That's about 47.5-95.2 million per hour (based on 350 days a year assuming the ban on Buddhist holidays remains). Are we sure we want THESE tourists running around here? -

Wow, hard to imagine there are still places demanding a proof for those vaccines. I'm not an anti-vax person. I was vaccinated for all the standard viruses and vaccinated my children as well. But never for flu and definitely never for c19. It was a terrible experiment on people. And the worst part is that it made people suspicious about any and all vaccines, and rightfully so.

And you, lady, sounds like an idiot. I don't like Trump and he gives enough reasons for anyone to think he's an idiot. But it seems the world needs such an idiot to put humankind back in perspective and kill the woke movement. BTW, human also has man in it. So maybe you think humankind does not include women?

Resurrect old bank account
LukKrueng replied to Hikage's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
AFAIK if there's any money left in three account then after a few months (maybe a year) of no activity, there bank will charge a small amount for keeping the account opened. Once all three money is gone and still no activity there account would be closed. Although I have an old account which I emptied well over a year ago and it still appears on the bank's app -

Thailand Debates Costly Move to Relocate Capital from Bangkok
LukKrueng replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Probably the same person who owns the land in Phatumthani, the location to which he tried to move the capital to 20 years ago... -
What brand of car? I have Ford assist and very happy with them. They do anything from changing a flat tire, a few liters of fuel if you ran out all the way to towing the car to the nearest Ford dealer's garage free of charge. There might be a limit to the miner if times they'll supply the free fuel, but no limits on actual breakdowns. Costs about 2500 Baht \year

Benefits to closing a bank account?
LukKrueng replied to bodo's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
You can do pretty much everything with the banks app, including cardless withdraws and it's free of charge. If you want them account closed you can simply empty it and after a while then bank will close it (might take dinner time though but I can't see any problems with leaving it opened) -
As @DrJack54 said immigration have nothing to do with the license, only issuing a proof of resistance. Thai citizens and foreigners holding a PR use a copy of the blue house book. There are many certified driving schools that offer lessons and both written exams and driving tests as part of the driving course. You can do bike\car and in some such schools even trucks and semi trailers. Cost around 4-6k BAHT. Once you complete the course and exams they issue a letter with which you go to the DLT to get the license.

Condo blue book
LukKrueng replied to LOG54's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
1. The blue book has nothing to do with ownership of the property. It is simply a registration of who lives in the house\condo. 2. Condo units are not divided to Thai\foreign quota. Any one can buy a unit from anyone - Thai from Thai, foreigner from Thai, foreigner from foreigner, Thai from foreigner. When a foreigner wants to buy ANY unit, the condo management has to issue a letter stating that at that point in time foreign ownership had not reached 49%. 3. A blue book must be issued to the property in order to get residential electricity. Therefore the OP's unit must have been issued with one when the building was completed. 4. There's no need to issue a new blue book when buying\selling property, and usually no new book is issued, and definitely not by the land office as they have nothing to do with it. They don't know nor care who resides in the property. As with any official document that was lost - one would have to report the loss to the police, then go to the tesaban\ampoe and get a new one. I bought a few units in the past. I got the blue book for done of the units but not all. Didn't bather me as I didn't have to register anyone living there. I recently sold a unit without a blue book, to a Thai person, and I told the buyer I don't have the blue book. Not an issue. As the buyer's main radiance is elsewhere they will probably keep their house registration (official address) wherever it was before, and if they still want a blue book all they'll have to do is report to the police the loss of the book and get a new one from the ket. -
Combined car+motorcycle Thai driver's license not possible?
LukKrueng replied to farrol's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Ok, we know all branches of any official offices are not the same. But how is this related to having bike and car licenses together on the same card? -
Combined car+motorcycle Thai driver's license not possible?
LukKrueng replied to farrol's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
1. I don't have an agenda not stakes in the game. 2. Going to immigration has nothing to do with getting a license. Getting a certificate of resistance at immigration is only needed by those who don't have other ways of proving where they reside such as blue or yellow housebook (yes, I know blue is only for Thai citizens and holders of PR). This certificate of resistance, much like the blue\yellow book is needed for many other things and is not directly connected to the license. 3. The OP was about having both bike and car on the same plastic card, and again, it makes no difference how you proved you place of resistance to the LTD, it makes no difference if one is a Thai citizen, holder of Thai PR, holder of any other type of visa\permit to stay - no one gets both types of licenses on the same plastic card. Maybe it was possible over 30 years ago when licensed were issued for life as someone mentioned in another reply, but it's not possible any longer. -
Vietnamese Man Arrested for Cannabis Cultivation in Bangkok
LukKrueng replied to Georgealbert's topic in Bangkok News
All the more reason to bust those who fail to obtain the right permits -
1. OP wrote that both his and his wife's name are on the chanot. No company mentioned. 2. OP was asking about the possibility of his in-laws taking over his condo. None of these issues has anything to do with quota. And condo units are not marked under any quota. When you buy a unit from either Thai or foreigner you must get a letter from the condo management verifying that at the time of issuing the letter, the % of foreign ownership is under 49. That figure can change everything a unit changes hands between a Thai and non Thai in both directions.
