  1. I don't think so, I think that common sense prevails. If you have a runny nose or no symptoms at all despite testing positive then stay in your hotel until you test negative.
  2. Yep although the solution is quite simple. Install a huge sleeping policeman (speed hump) and speed cameras which fine you 2,000 baht for going over the speed limit. I think you'll find that will incentivise people to slow down. It does here anyhow!!
  3. I said that the article is about corruption PERCEPTIONS. It's not a measurement of actual corruption. Apology accepted ????
  4. Whichever way you look at it, the report is still about perceived corruption rather than comparing instances of actual corruption in each country which incidentally would be a much more interesting report.
  5. The article is not about corruption. It's about corruption PERCEPTION Here's the website
  6. You own the land through the company. I'ts not illegal if its a genuine business though some were exploiting this loophole. I think the rule of thumb is that if you are not generateing income or paying taxes you may be investigated
  7. Absolutely. How many construction workers for example have mild Covid symptoms but still go to work and how many of those don't report that they have Covid for fear of being told to stay at home for 5+ days with no pay.
  8. Same here but most of them are in pattaya... Plus I don't think Mrs Chelseafan would approve ????
  9. That's a given but sadly there's noone to stand up to them. At least Xi has a policy of relativelty peaceful expansion, Putin on the other hand is just a thug.
  10. Thats not just Thailand We're taught in the UK to never admit liability for a car accident until we've spoken to our insurers.
  11. There is a thing called history ???? China is doing nothing that other countries have done over the past 500 years...
  12. Unlike of course the Portugese, Dutch, British, Aussies, Amercians, French, Spanish....etc etc
  13. I've already posted above. In relation to your article, that's potentially 3693 people who might not have needed to be in hospital because they were, in the main, self-absorbed idiots!
  14. With some hospitals previously reporting 80-90%. "The 61% figure is lower than the 80-90% reported at some hospitals. But the latest ICNARC data span only to 15 December, and the proportion of patients in intensive care who are unvaccinated may have increased as the omicron variant spread in December. Some hospitals will also have been more badly affected than others."
  15. We have vaccines for mumps, rubella, chicken pox, measles and other airborne viruses, I don't see any reason not to have the Covid vaccine unless you are medically exempt. It's not discrimination, it's common sense.
