  1. Nope, haven't moved any goal posts, I was just making another point. Is that ok with you?

Just a quick search on Pub Med, brings up this.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24595780

It's not a particulary good example, but it highlights that there are opposing facts to your dogmatic approach.

We could go at 'it' all day.....but there's no real need, is there? Unless of course, you need to be right all the time.

Id hardly call that proof it works, yes we can keep going at it....if thats ok with you?

Didn't call it proof. In fact, if you read the bit in bold....laugh.png

Ok, now I'm going to post something else. And the reason I'm doing this is to see how you react. Ok, my dear chap? biggrin.png

What are your thoughts on Placebos?

  2. Gentlemen....are we not such?

I'm guessing the 3 of us are some of the maturer men on here; we've learnt alot from life, so let's all be mates...friends...ok? smile.png

I couldnt agree more but as you have seen by the OP posts and reactions to date on this thread, i have been told to shut up, called troll etc and finally put on an ignore list because i related and on topic story the OP didnt agree with, thats just censorship and bullying IMHO

If that's how you see it though, perhaps you could be the 'bigger man' & not respond. smile.png

However...I go on another Forum - nothing to do with Thailand, & have taken a 'leave of absence' as I let myself get wound up too much by daft comments.facepalm.gif

    Never mind....smile.png

  3. Science is the New Religion...........facepalm.gif

Go back 300 years & show a Physician an MRI....he would say it's Witchcraft.

40 years ago, Acupuncture was thought in the West that for it to work, you needed to somehow believe in it.

Same with Reflexology 20 years ago......

And don't many people 'Wish On A Star'....& many other things like that?

  4. After 5 pages & 120 posts, we don't still don't have a definition of what exactly constitutes a lie. We all tell them, to a greater or lesser degree.

People do what they do, to get the results they want.....or think they want. laugh.png Another way to put it is, 'do what they need to do to survive'.

But this doesn't answer the OP's question.Which is, of course, unanswerable. smile.png

How would we define what a lie is?

"If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."
