I have met many foreigners here living in Thailand and one Californian man I was good friends with . He needed help with getting a visa and I loaned him 25000 to pay an agent . Now 8 months later still no return of the money even though he promised the money back in 2 months. I do not want to see him again as I don't want any trouble.

At the present time the Australians refuse to pay up unless you go and live in Australia for two years.
