Have to agree with your comment . I would like to add that large fronted vehicles such as pickup trucks and SUVs cause far more deaths around the worlds roads . Something needs to be controlled about this type of vehicle , especially in Thailand as they have become the most used vehicles on the road today .

I have seen the same , yet after many years of obtaining TM30 registrations I can say that all is needed is the first page information on the foreigners passport . The last TM 30 for a guest was applied for was the 25th of october . All went as usual with just the front page information of two foreigners . That has been the procedure for many years . We need to apply for a TM30 on the 24th of November fora new guest and the same procedure will be applied. If not succesful I will notify you .

I give the house owner copies of foreigners front page passport details. House owner either uses the online facility or will go into immigration and pick manually. That is happening many times each month.

We immigrants are allowed to live here in Thailand with no vote or say in what happens here in Thailand . All i can do is go along with the flow like it or not . The worst of driving opposite side of the road at the start is when there is no traffic around as it is easy to start driving on the wrong side . Of course when you meet a car driving towards you all comes back to you quickly .
