  1. Just paying your electricity bill in advance and giving added maintenene concerns with solar energy . Too expensive in other words . The price needs to come down for the solar systems to be of use for 10 to 15 kw systems .
  2. With so much equipment you would need full time a caretaker just for keeping the system operating .
  3. Thereis some deception with the blaming of the hot weather as the real price for electricity has risen by 15 percent at least . Just blame the weather OK
  4. The price increase in electricity is being piled onto the large users of electricity . With an election coming up i can understand the motive why small users are not seeing any dramatic price increases .
  5. Solar would not help as the investment required would outweigh any savings for some years .
  6. The UK has thrown much business away with Brexit so involving India in more trade can only be a plus , especially when there is at the moment at least a Indian prime minister residing in number 10 Downing Street.

  22. I have been suffering from the air pollution for the past 2 months . I have not experianced such conditions in nine years of residing in Chiang Mai . Over the nine years i have seen that Thai people have the same regard for quality of the air as they do with a red traffic light . Burning leaves , houshold rubbish and developers burning the trees rather than spend extra money and cut the wood and dispose of legally . That list is far from a natural phenomenon . I read of the blame for the fires in the forests rests with the mushroom trade . If so surely something can be done to stop the trade . However one must concede that forest fires can start from lightning for example . Add the fact that here in the North has had very little rain this year and that can not be blamed on anyone . Last year it never stopped raining and the air was good . The Phuket Governor is not totally wrong .
  23. That applies to Thailand in my opinion . I have lived in a few countries as well . Can be white against white too.
