alien365 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I think you need to up your meds if you think that relating to the laws of a country. -
In Case You Missed it, the Tattoo Fad is Over
alien365 replied to Walker88's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Ive had one for about 15 years and want another two. The only reason I've not got them is the price. Based on the cost of living here, they should really only be about 10k each. That's a pretty good amount for one day if you ask me, but I'm not paying 3k per hour. -
Thai PM Considers Easing Alcohol Sales Rules to Boost Tourism
alien365 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
My understanding was that before midnight, the customers buy the alcohol that they want for the remaining few hours Technically they are not selling after 12 this way. Usually the promotions help with this when you buy 3 beers for 200 baht or something like that. -
It would be nice if they put up some signs. There are none. For the last 4 weeks at around 8:30 am I've driven 60, based on what I'd read here. I've never heard motorists use their horns there apart from the tuk tuk pip pips, which are not really an issue IMO.

Foreign man attacks Phuket woman for honking while crossing road
alien365 replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
She really did herself no favours. I used to get told quite often to not honk my horn at others here. I only do it now when some tool is not moving at a traffic light as they are looking at their phone. She's Thai, she should know. -
Drunken tourists attack Bolt driver in Pattaya over ‘silent treatment’
alien365 replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
He didn't exactly stay silent then did he. He could have easily taken the higher ground but chose to aggravate the drunkards further. -
Can anyone tell me a better culinary combo than this?
alien365 replied to Elvis Presley's topic in Western Food in Thailand
The raw beef (like soiju) near me is fantastic and it's less than 200 baht. That with some beer woon, I'm in heaven! -
Foreign man goes on rampage in Bangkok hospital, allegedly leaving 1 dead
alien365 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Excellent job. Assaulting multiple people then running at the police with an axe, the end result was deserved in my opinion.- 94 replies

Before you drive for the first time in LOS
alien365 replied to sqwakvfr's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I find driving during the day more dangerous as the roads are more congested and you have a huge difference in speeds and urgency of the drivers. -
I assume he held his face for the cameras, he's innocent you know, like a footballer rolling on the ground crying for a foul. The boyfriend could also have ended up having to pay out because of this. I'm not sure what happened before he attacked her, but If she did nothing wrong at all, I agree she should be compensated by this lowlife.

Strange and annoying things here in land of smiles
alien365 replied to villageidiotY2K's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
For me, what's strange is when I order food and they bring my warm rice, then it sits going cold for 15 minutes before they bring the rest of the food I ordered. -
It depends on my mood but the go to action movies are John Wick/ Jack Reacher/LOTR/Maverick. For something more chilled the Big Lebowski. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is one of my favourite films, but I can't watch it that much anymore as I need to be high to get the best experience.

Drunk tourist clashes with Phuket bikers over massage ride
alien365 replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
He is really lucky that the drivers showed restraint or simply didn't know how to fight. He was so incredibly slow himself that anyone with a half decent jab or hook could down this manchild. -
Khon Kaen Club Sparks Concerns Over ID Scanning Practice
alien365 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Yep. Slightly different, but there's a bar in my area (Nakhon Pathom) that appears to require ID from everyone at the door as proof of age. I went with two 60+ year olds and ID was required. We turned away and went somewhere else. Okay they only missed out on about 1,000 baht that night, but by never returning and spending our money elsewhere, it adds up. -
Car Runs Red Light, Collides with Pickup Truck, Injuring 13
alien365 replied to Georgealbert's topic in Central Thailand News
To be fair, from the video, the red light wasn't the clearest. I once went straight through a red at night on an unfamiliar road. The lights were similar to in this video, but with 18 wheelers on the inside of me, there was no way of me seeing the light until I'd already driven through. -
Former Boxer Arrested in Fatal Security Guard Attack at Thai Party
alien365 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
It was like watching a movie scene watching them approach one by one. He needed lynching after dropping the first guy. -
Thai ladies with hairy legs is a real turn off.
alien365 replied to ubonr1971's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
There are lots of female students with hairy arms and legs. Many just don't see anything wrong with it. The ladyboys are more likely to shave to make themselves appear less like a man -
Bangkok Lowers Speed Limit to 60 km/h Amid Safety Push
alien365 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
It's always gridlock anyway. To drive 60 would be a dream on the roads I take -
I had it ages ago in a champagne style bottle. It reminds me a bit of Carling Premier, very smooth, but no real taste (it has more taste than premier, but it's not much). I also tried the Leo supreme, which was a bit more refined than the original, but I didn't like the aftertaste. Night hunter IPA on the other hand is very nice. They also have a golden beer, but the IPA is way better IMO. Each to their own though.
