  1. I don't think he needs to access the seat compartment. Clicks used to have the battery under a removable plastic panel in the front but I think newer models have it under a panel where the feet rest. Just unscrew and that's it. @MikaQ5: check your user manual how to access the battery, it's probably the page I attached
  2. Calling BS. Doubt the CBR1000RR exposes a SAE cable under the seat. It's just a third party cable installed for a trickle charger. Connecting that to ground will do exactly nothing. I paused the video on the right frame and you can clearly see the key is in the ignition when he turns the bike on. See the lower left corner of the screenshot. Wonder why someone working at a Honda dealer would post stuff like that. People do anything to get attention on TikTok I guess. Mr. Honda is probably not amused though ????
  3. But what is that supposed to prove? It's a package unrelated to your order on Shopee as far as they are concerned. Get the document from police, go to Kerry with it and follow what the companies suggest you do. THEN go to Shopee with the all the documentation and see if they do something. You can also try to send the sender the police documents and see how they react. Maybe they get scared enough to refund you.
  4. There is a little misunderstanding. They do not ask for a search warrant. That could only be granted by a judge. What they want you to get is a request by the police for information about the sender of the parcel from the shipping company. With this document, Kerry will go into their system and find out who was the actual sender. This is not a dead end, why not do what they suggest? Of course. Because so far you have not followed the whole process. All they have is a person complaining but no proof, no paperwork from police, no nothing. All they see is that some order was not shipped which is not enough to suspend a seller unless it happens a lot.
  5. 8 Baht per kWh is overcharging and is illegal. Many try to skim a few thousand bath a month this way. Multiply it by the number of units they have and it's serious money. I pay around 2.5-3k for a 2.5 bedroom house and at least one aircon runs nearly 24/7. Here is the official MEA tariff site: https://www.mea.or.th/en/profile/109/111 You'd fall under 1.2, residential over 150kWh so up to 4.4217 THB/unit.
  6. And another one scammed by using Cash On Delivery. Folks, don't use COD! Use your card and life will be easier. And yet even in this very topic people recommend COD... I really don't get it.
  7. It's good to have a backup for everything in case it doesn't work. That goes for your browser but also your internet connection, your device itself, your bank account, your wife... wait what? ????
  8. I suggest the nearby museum instead. They also have guides. At least when I was there late last year there was a fairly young guy, history student, who was able to tell us in pretty decent english about the history of the place.
  9. Nope the areas can be very large, several provinces. E.g. from BKK to the Lao border north of Phitsanulok. And you can select more than one so you can cover all of Thailand if you want to. Only in BKK imho. I've used Google Maps offline all over Thailand to extend the battery life of my phone. I turn internet on when I start the navigation and whenever I take a break. While driving it's usually off. That way I get traffic data at the beginning and every now and then which has turned out good enough for most cases. Only in BKK I tend to keep it on for better live data and rerouting.
  10. iPhones are known for having heat issues in the sun. They dim the screen rather quickly due to that which also doesn't help if you want to use it as a navi. Don't think a particular mount will help too much in that regard unless it can provide shade but still some airflow. I've used my Samsung S7 with a simple mount and it never overheated. I would recommend a vibration dampener if it's a phone that's valuable and might get damaged by high frequency vibes (for example OIS of the cam). I can't wait until more bikes get Android Auto or Apple Car Pay integration so we can have Google Maps on the bikes screen while the phone is in the pocket. Not really. Download a map for offline usage and the most important navigation stuff works without any internet connection. Just live traffic data wont be available.
  11. Yea this seems like a rushed populist solution that might come with bad side effects. Increasing consumption at this time is a really bad idea and printing money for the cap will increase inflation. A price cap on kWh for typical households would make more sense. Making it progressive would be even better.
  12. Personally I really don't care to pay a few bath to call their support and sort out the issue in a few minutes. But how do they like to say? Up to you ????
  13. No and that's why COD is a bad idea. I'd suggest reading the other thread I linked to and you will find a bunch of reasons.
  14. Yes but you can get past the virtual agent and talk to a real person.
  15. I tried it and got a real person within a few seconds. Maybe you tried outside the working hours. Try typing in "agent", "customer ageent" or something along the lines in this CLEO thing. 02 usually is landline BKK Not true, debit cards can do chargebacks just as well. I know, that's why I posted the phone number...
  16. Then I would ask your bank to issue a chargeback for the missing amount.
  17. Just tried it. They indeed have this "CLEO" thing now but you can get rid of that one and talk to a real person. It's like an automated initial menu. Maybe OP thought that that system was a customer rep? No idea but it's pretty clearly just a menu system. They also prominently show the hotline. I suggest using that. I've always had a really good experience with it.
  18. Lazada Support Chat is not bots. I always talked to a real person. I assume the OP is a bit exagerating. Would be interesting to see the chat transcript. Maybe there was a misunderstanding with the Lazada support and they thought he paid by credit card while it was debit? Debit is much more common in Thailand. Then it can take up to 30 days and the OP has not mentioned how long it has been since the refund was supposedly issued. Also with credit cards it can take more than the next billing cycle if the new billing cycle was just around the corner.
  19. COD opens yourself up for fraud. See for example https://aseannow.com/topic/1270403-scammed-on-lazada-no-refund/ Better be safe and use a card. Even if it takes a couple weeks to be credited back, so what? You can always go to the bank and do a chargeback. At least you'll get your money back.
  20. FortNine is one of the best motorcycle video producers on Youtube. Educational videos that raise important subjects but also entertaining and very well made. Also one of the very very few who actually will name their sources. If you had watched it in its entirety then you'd know the point was that many people will see e-bikes as not dangerous while seeing motorcycles as dangerous but the opposite can be the case. F9's arguments are pretty solid. Of course it's always people and how they handle things that make things dangerous eventually but that doesn't mean we shouldn't look at how people actually behave right now in reality.
  21. The seller doesn't have to work with anyone else for this issue to happen. There doesn't have to be a dataleak. The seller can pull off the scam themselves. Take the delivery info to the police and let them find out from the courier company who sent it. They are supposed to collect sender information and check ID card when accepting the package and so you'd know who actually sent it. Maybe the delivery company didn't check the ID card or maybe it was fake. But worth a try if you want to spend the time.
  22. ASEAN NOW didn't explain the significance either, though they did make it the leading word of their headline.
  23. If you open a EUR balance with Wise then your account will be in Belgium and have an IBAN. SEPA transfers work with it. https://wise.com/help/articles/2827505/how-do-i-use-my-eur-account-details You can then convert the EUR to THB and pay it to your local Thai bank account if you want. It arrives within seconds and the exchange rate is the real market rate and much better than what you get from Thai banks.
