  1. I don't vote for any of them, all self-serving crooks. Bring back Arthur Scargill's Socialist Labour Party!
  2. Today's bill was a massive 340bht for 70 units. (60bht up on last month)
  3. I had exactly the same experience with accident insurance from the 'green' bank. Fell off my bicycle, broke my jaw, they said it was 'cosmetic' and refused to pay. Last health insurance I ever buy (think the insurance cost 500bht so no big loss) I paid the 3,500bht repairs myself.
  4. I've She's got another 300gms to harvest and dry this month. So far I've she's only vacuum packed 1 bag with 15gm. Add to that the 200gm in jars from last year, the 100gm in jars from this year, and the other 20 plants all flowering at the moment and storage becomes a significant problem. It seems a shame to throw it all away. Can't understand the current high prices, everyone growing must be producing far more than they can consume, 250bht+/gm is madness.
  5. I can see 2 in the photo! If this was a pantomime I'd be shouting 'Behind you!'
  6. Lots of different countries in the EU you can spend your 90 days, no need to ever return home. 90 days in south of France + 90 days in Spain + 90 days in Portugal .......
  7. 185GBP per person, per week (+housing if you don't already own a home). I'm totally happy with it, about 30% more than I was expecting. (+10% more after April)
  8. An issue that affects all poor people. I'm betting there's no NHS waiting list for the ultra rich PM (or any MP).
  9. It's interesting that posters think a guy that expects a family unit should consist of a man, a woman and children ................. hates women.
  10. I'd go with this choice (which I've already done 3x and survived). The insurance denying you access to these Thai butchers may well have saved you. Life's a lottery, why worry about the future, a m/c could kill any of us tomorrow. And now you don't have to pay for insurance, you've got some more money to spend! Note: To all future insurance customers .......... April didn't pay out!
  11. It's exactly the same if you're vacuum sealing the flowers. And once ground to put in a joint nobody would know. If you're growing, it's one of the few options for long term storage.
  12. You would have to ask the Globalists that. As far as I'm concerned if they killed each other down to the last man it would be good for the world.
  13. Can't say I care about the way it looks or tastes. The end result is all that counts. Same with wine or beer. Just trying vacuum packing my flower. Totally crushed flat.
  14. Didn't this happen a week or two back? Seems like normal US winter weather to me.
  15. Is it my fault the UK government choose to spent the 20% NI I paid most of my working life for a state pension, rather than invest it? I don't think so. Better you worry about the money the UK wastes on supporting the Ukraine war, foreign aid for India, and the armed forces.
  16. Odd but true. I used to like liver and bacon for breakfast but was never prepared to pay the same price for pork liver as for lean pork steak.
  17. I would suggest the UK hunger problems are the same as before (ww1, ww2, Ukraine/Russia). Only this time it's NATO trying to start a war in Europe.
  18. 60bht for 250gm in Lotus's for chicken breasts. Your UK chicken was way cheaper than Thailand chicken.
  19. My mom told me she was often hungry in the 1950s (rationing).
  20. Does that make a difference to the effects? Do you select wine and beer on the shape and colour of the bottle?
  21. Looking at ALDI UK prices, almost the same for the ingredients in Thailand and the UK. Chicken breasts 2.99gbp for 400gm Vs 60bht for 250gm, potatoes slightly more expensive in Thailand.
  22. Still in contact with my rellies, older couple, live in social housing, live mainly on benefits. Eat a lot of junk food (both huge), drink a lot of alcohol and smoke. I'd say TBL is bang on.
