sin sod or not she was already married

Was 30 years with my Brit wife before she grabbed for everything. As they say in the adverts, previous returns are no guarantee of future ROI. They can strip you bare after 30 days or 30 years, you can't trust women. -
Waiting on a pension application answer from the UK
BritManToo replied to itsari's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
Same with me for the company pension, and the state pension. I just use my last address in the UK, nobody actually checks anything in person. Credit check (for identity by company pension) 12 years after I lived there, all still worked. Nobody ever updates their records, unless you tell them different, they just do online checks. Get yourself a VPN, VeePN works, set it to the UK, no charge, then all the government sites work properly. Get yourself a UK phone number with Skype, $22 for 3 months, $10 for 400 minutes call time, you can call them, they can call you. It's well worth the $80/year, banks, phone banking, pensions, tax, passport renewal, driving license renewal, NI all works as if you never left. -
Thai culture: "Just two women living alone together in a garden"

Did they say it to you in Thai or English. English translations of Thai proverbs/sayings often don't make any sense. ('Don't worry water' being the one I hear most often) -
off grid solar earthing question
BritManToo replied to michaelgoulden's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
This one is big, branded and expensive 10KWhr .... 78Kbht. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/must-10kwh-ess-tesla-powerwall-48v-200ah-lifepo4-battery-hybrid-grid-home-solar-energy-storage-system-i2777108044-s10101632895.html And there's guys building smaller ones at a more reasonable price 6KWhr .... 30Kbht. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i2646833087-s9512437008.html Both these sellers get good reviews, and the products are in Thailand. Lazada also guarantees all products sold through Lazada includes any taxes. Best not to put them in or too near your house, shed in the garden job IMHO. -

If she' over 50 there's no chance of kids, so no reason to marry her. Live in sin at no charge. @Neeranambeat me to it! -

Cannabis, hemp removed from narcotics list
BritManToo replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News Headlines
My friend found that a plant that's old enough will flower no matter what the sunshine hours are. It takes a little longer (5+ months), and it's probably on the large size, but it flowers. Autos also cost too much, 1 auto seed gets you one smallish plant around 1oz per plant (2oz if you're really good). 1 feminised seed gets you as many plants as you like, any size you like, 3oz+ per plant. Now if you want to grow 20 plants ...... that's a significant cost difference. $200 Vs $10 in seed cost. -

I avoid smoking pot in Thailand. I also avoid buying pot in Thailand as there is a tendency for your dealer to be a narc for the police. For some reason that doesn't appear to be a problem in Cambodia or Vietnam. -

And yet it's openly sold ($10/bag) and smoked (not in public) in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. And even listed on the menu as a topping for Pizzas in many restaurants. -
off grid solar earthing question
BritManToo replied to michaelgoulden's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
3x 400w panels will only get you 5 units a day at best, you need more panels I'd use something more standard (and integrated) than all your little parts. Like this ..... 16Kbht https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i2226480952-s9185383861.html or this ....... 13k5bht https://shopee.co.th/5.5KW-Hybrid-Off-Grid-Inverter-48V-MPPT-100A-Pure-Sine-Wave-รองรับโมดูล-WIFI-i.428988356.13409949302 48v seems to be the standard for batteries these days, 24v will restrict you. You should also consider a generator for charging in emergencies/monsoon season. Not expensive at all, 6kbht should be enough for occasional use. No need for 4mm solar cable with that few panels. 2.5mm twin is a lot cheaper and good for 16A at 400V Your specifications only call for 10A at 140V (and the reality is 3 panels in series will be lucky to deliver 5A) -

Don't earth the DC, it'll break your inverter. You can earth the PV frame if you want. If you must have protection fuse and surge, but not needed if you're not putting in a lightning strike area. A lightning strike will kill the panels whatever you do. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/applegreen-combiner-dc-box-3-1-mc4-dc-surge-1000v-dc-fuse-12a-25a-32a-dc-breaker-16a-32a-63a-i509418767-s904224453.html -

Nearly all Asia is the same, no need to bash Thais. You should try crossing a road in Saigon ........ not only 100s of m/cs in front of you, but plenty on the pavement behind you. -

Many Thais seem to view sex as a bit of light entertainment. Not the 'meaningful serious commitment' we were taught in the west. It's our repressive puritan religion that's at fault, not theirs. -

BritManToo replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News Headlines
I can recommend The Vault. They post to Thailand in plain Jiffy bags. https://www.cannabis-seeds-store.co.uk/ You don't need many feminised seeds, as cannabis is very easy to clone (from cuttings). (you can't clone autos, and they have poor yields) My friend can recommend ......... Red Diesel ..... 20% THC grows well in tropical temperatures, and a large plant (tingles and sleepy) Critical Orange Punch ..... 20% THC grows well in tropical temps, also a large plant (vivid dreams and sleepy) Don't expect cannabis to grow well outside as all the creatures love eating it. Thrips, aphids, leaf miners and slugs.- 18 replies

Cannabis legalization for medical purposes: Health Minister
BritManToo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
If THC is legal in any amount they won't be able to stop and test anyone. Because you would just claim the test result was from you taking product under 0.2% content. So they could only extort you if you were caught carrying the product over 0.2%. So I would say, smoke but don't carry.
