Yep, I stopped having holidays in Thailand a few years back. I spend the minimum possible money living here now, but so far this year I've had holidays in Saigon (x2), Phnom Penh and Da Nang. That was money I would have previously spent in Thai beach resorts.
As for prices, return flight CNX to Da Nang 2,300bht, bus from the airport to the town 25c, hotel 100m from the beach $15/night, the beach was clean, nobody selling, and the water was clear. Way cheaper than Phuket.

2) Who looks after you for example, listens to your problems, be there when u need someone, someone to hug to make feel special, to hold at night, to be your rock or you be theres ,
1) It depends, If I were 70. I'd rather be alone than stuck with a 70 year old woman, but 70 and living with a 20-30 year old woman would be nice. In the west the majority of people aged 70+ are entirely alone, partner dead or gone, deserted by their children, stuck in a care home. Lonely is a feature of getting old.
2) I'm hoping my Thai kids will be there for the looking after and hugging bit, if I reach 70 my son will be 15, so I expect he'll still be around.

NZD/GBP 0.46 at Brexit, now 0.53.
AUD/GBP 0.54 at Brexit now 0.56.
Most currencies have fallen against the Baht. GBP the most.
Check the figures for 6months- 1 year after Brexit, before the THB started to strengthen, much worse.
Sorry, I have no interest in your remainer propaganda and cherry picking of currency falls.
My Oz pals have lost 33% in the past 3-4 years, I've lost 27% in the past 10 years.

Always thought the Ozzies had more b$lls than most. However I must be wrong as they have voted in a religious hypocrite as a prime minister. Sad days for Oz. Doubly so as today you will be whopped at Edgbaston by the old enemy. ????
Voting for a Christian leader is the only opportunity left to oppose the Muslim invasion.

The Op has run away from his bar bill, and is a person not to be trusted.
He's now a thief and a criminal. has said go back, pay the bill, leave a few extras for the mamasan and the bar, and get the conscience cleared...
You think people that get drunk and hire prostitutes are generally to be trusted?

2. Was I in the right? Yes, this matters to me. Should I have paid the big bar tab after she offered to refund the bar fine? Doesn't seem right to me since I would not have run up such a large tab, but for paying the bar find and assuming we would be heading off.
Once a bar fine is agreed you should leave and go home.
Every problem I've ever had (or my pals have ever had) with a bar girl started after I/they hung around or took her for a meal or took her drinking before getting down to business.
It just seems to create an opportunity for them to change their minds, do the social thing after if you really must.
Bill before BF was agreed, you should pay.
Bill after she cancelled the contract debatable.
Hopefully they will sack her for causing them a problem.

However, there's no doubt that the £ has suffered a much more dramatic fall than other currencies. As a wild, and conservative, guess I would estimate that at least 50% of the £'s devaluation is due to Brexit.
So you're ignoring the falls of the AUS$, NZ$, CAN$ and Krone, that all fell by more than the UKP for what reason?

HiV test for a start, strange skin infections can be an early indication of an immune system problem.
Cellulitus is the other obvious infection, easily cured with antibiotic pills, Amoxicillin 500, 2 pills a day for 5 days around 50-100bht for generic, cream probably won't fix it.
Skin cancer is another possibility.
You really need to see a hospital doctor.

All is see over the comments here is the self-loathing of westerners and like you said all are spewing vitriol about Indian tourists in Thailand
I certainly loath the UK, but I don't think I'd like India any better.
Not that I've ever been, India VISA costs 10x more for Brits than any other nationality.

If India is such a great place, why do they all want to move to Bradford?
And why are you posting on a Thai expat forum?

I merely suggested this as an alternative for Farangs shying away from official marriage, (with it's many obligations), but not wanting to leave a Thai GF of many years "high and dry" once the Farang has passed away. The word "fairness" comes to mind. An acceptable compromise, once (official) marriage has been excluded as an option, I find.
Not entirely sure why I should 'be fair' to a woman who appears to be my employee.
When I die, let her find another employer like the rest of the working world.

Only required in private rooms, if you're in the public ward no need.

On the flip side some years ago there were two Indian guys staying in a small hotel in Soi Honey, and I found myself in the same bar as them a few times. Given they only drank Johnnie Walker Black label and lots of it, their bar bill was much more than most customers. They were made most welcome by the bar owner and staff alike. They were perfectly civil and friendly and they didn't smell of curry.
I'll see your 2 rich Indians, and raise you 100,000 poor Indians.

Do you still feel lonely and regret not being married or hooked up?

All very well until you fall and break your hip (someone I know in CM just did this).
After lying in bed not being able to move all night, he got the bright idea of calling my gf.
So she spent 2 days sorting out ambulance, trucking him around hospitals until he found one he could afford.
Time he found his own hired help IMHO, I ain't a charity for old single men.
