I haven't been out of here for nearly two years so I dont see why should be more prone to have a virus than the locals. Btw, here South where I'm located maybe 1 out of 25 are to seen with a mask. On another not the minister of the great "Making belive ministry" do not need to kick me out.????‍♂️ Waging for and against every day when for the right time to go for when this start to get as bad here as in China we haven't a change to avoid infections.????

Asians are 20% more likely to have and spread the virus than Caucasians.

According to some scientist writing about 'receptors'

By doing that, you are committing an offence. Besides, if your old address now belongs to a complete stranger, it makes it a bit difficult to collect the new licence. You would also need to time your illegal renewal application to coincide with a time you are actually in the UK.

It's also easier to hire a car using a Thai licence than UK licence if your addresses on your UK licence and credit card don't match, providing of course, the addresses on your Thal licence and credit card do match.

My UK D/L, NHS doctor, debit cards and bank account details are still registered at the last UK address I used.

No reason to change any of it.

My Thai D/L, hospital registration, debit cards and bank details are all for the Thai address where I live.

No reason to change any of them either.

Nobody cares, nobody checks, as long as you have money & income the DVLC, NHS, DWP, banks are happy enough to keep it for you without really caring if you live there or not. No point in telling HMRC about living overseas, all my income is sourced and taxed in the UK. All my UK tax refunds are applied for online, repayment direct to my UK bank account within 14 days.

All the old fools worrying about addresses and offences are just that ........

Well the issue is the way the account is set up as the bank does not allow that account access to a card or online as it makes you have to go to the bank in person which normally is not really an issue till now where we will start going back and forth to USA and need to be able to move the money to pay bills without going to the bank in person and need the online access as we can move money via the phones

Yeah, I've got one of those with TMB.

Heard a similar story from a friend many moons ago. Apparently her mother did the same. So she went to Pattaya to work off the debt and obtained the papers for the property. Whilst she was away, her mother managed to do the same again. I stayed out of it.

Same story from my Thai wife, her mom sold her to me in exchange for paying off the loan (100kbht).

A condition of the marriage and payment, was that ownership of the family farm was transferred to our first born, which was done shortly after his birth, one year after the marriage. Mom's other children still don't know about the transfer of ownership eight years later.

I've still got my son and the family farm.

The lawyer told me that if at the end of this period, the loan is not repaid, I can take her to court, and the court would sell her house with the land and pay me whatever is realized. Of course, there would be court fees and lawyer fees.

What if she gets a new chanote (very small cost) and sells the house or transfers it to a relative?

  6. My peanuts are 15% cheaper.

Normally 10bht/bag but Tesco are selling them 2 bags for 17bht.

Cooking oil seems to have risen from 40bht to 45bht but that's about it for inflation in my household.

Bought 6 bags of TFM bread flour 32bht/each, same price for the last 11 years.

And 2 bags of Star all purpose flour 24bht, same price for the past 11 years.

Yes that was definitely her solution too. She was a simple farm girl from up north who didn't know much about science.

Just to point out generic Amoxcillin 500mg is 25bht for a packet of 10 at Makro pharmacy.

    (40bht in the other pharmacies)

No need to go anywhere near a doctor or hospital.

HIV from female to male only happens in theory. There are HIV positive women who have had sex with their male partners for years and not infected them. It’s PC scare mongering mate. Unless you take a cack in your azz you won’t get HIV.

Have to disagree with you on this one.

My heterosexual pal died from AIDs last summer, treated for a year in a London hospital, caught it from a Thai girl. I'd travelled all over SEA with him (Romance travellers), he never showed any interest in guys, ladyboys, or injecting drugs.
