"The Thai people will not forget." Do you not realise by now that "The Thai people" are of no consequence in this play/farce? In the same way as the will of the voters was of no consequence in the recent election!!! -

Thai food’s bold blend of flavours: A culinary delight with a fatal bite
sambum replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Just spoke to my Thai wife from Isan about it. Apparently, the problem isn't when it's cooked - the problem is that some people prefer it uncooked and therein lies the danger! P.S. As an aside, I note that the post says " millions of Thai people, especially in Isaan,...." Apparently it can be written in various ways i.e. "Īsān; also written as Isaan, Isarn, Issarn, Issan, Esan, or Esarn" which is probably why Thai is such a difficult language to learn!!! ???? -

"It just happens to all be mostly white collar type crimes instead of assaults, robbery, murder, etc. Prostitution, gambling, bribery, corruption, sexual assaults, human trafficking, all are common,...." Is there that much difference? -
No Plans to Shut Down Facebook in Thailand, Says New Digital Minister
sambum replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
At last, someone with some foresight, something usually lacking in Thai Government! Usually, the answer is an ill thought out knee jerk reaction to a problem without any thought to the consequences. For instance, a few years ago, a rail employee who was high on drugs, raped and murdered a young girl and threw her off the train. The answer - stop the sale and drinking of alcohol by everybody travelling on trains!!! Goodness knows how much revenue this has lost the Thai Railways System - I used to use the service regularly from Surat Thani to Bangkok, but after that ridiculous decision have stopped using Thai trains, and I know a few of my friends who are of the same mind!!! The closing down of Facebook in Thailand would have been a disaster for the economy, and the outgoing Digital Economy and Society Minister Chaiwat Thanakamanusorn is travelling in the right direction - OUT! -

???? That says it all! P.S. Just as a matter of interest, there should also be a comma in between "No" and "there"! The whole style of your posts shows the standard of your education - in English, especially, but your trolling ability is pretty good. So good in fact, that if you continue in the same vein, you will probably get this thread closed down, so do yourself and everybody else a favour, and try to put something of interest in your posts, rather than constant criticism of everybody who crosses your path. -

No, the topic is about a drunk Brit (singular) who got beaten up severely by some Thais - can you not read either, as well as not use proper grammar? -

Your comments are indeed works of art that should be recorded and kept for posterity! For someone who "rarely criticises Brits" you are making up for it on this thread alone - every post is patently "Brit Bashing" and not one criticising the over the top reaction by the Thais. "Kwak250" hit it on the nail - you are just trolling! -

How do you know he was "English"? And the fact that he was drunk at 5.30 am is not the point - the point is he was behaving like an idiot, and spoiling for a fight (he was even wanting to fight with the "responders" (Buzz word - couldn't resist!) so he got one!
