If you have a TV cable TV aerial connector, on the back of the TV, then select the TV input and you should see Snow and hear noise if the main parts of your TV is working. (Doesn't test the circuit board where the HDMI part comes in, but tests the rest).

Franklin submersible non-stop run time limits?
carlyai replied to unheard's topic in The Electrical Forum
Maybe the Franklin controller doesn't have a 'run dry' facility. You can buy these controllers in Thailand and from China. I suppose it can also depend on what aquifer you are on and how deep is your pump in the well and diameter of the well. The way everyone is putting down solar powered bores everywhere and leaving them on 24/7 probably, you'de have to be careful running the pump continuously incase there is not enough water to keep recharging the well. -
I'd say no licence, no insurance. Would be a brave insurance company to start a HiSo precedent. I remember when you could get an International Driving Permit in Thailand that wasn't real, but the Police let it go. Trouble was (so my insurance guy said) if you have a accident then you're not licenced and therefore no insurance. Same as learning-to-drive. My wife started at a driving school. Then I switched her to our car as that was the one she'd be driving. My insurance guy said your wife and car not covered as she has no licence, better get a licence first then learn to drive. So she got her licence, then learnt to drive. Love Thailand ????

What do you use for Propagating Fluid? -
I have these green cones and small spounges, but not sure exactly how to use them to propergate seeds. I think you would put the spounge in the cone, add some water and one/some seeds. Then when the plants grow a bit, transplant them to the clay beads beds. Do you also add some food, if so what? Before I've just broadcast the seeds in the hydro beds. Anyone (who's done it before) clue me in? Thanks

TM47-46-************** was created by the TM47 people and submitted. ???? What is this all about?' ANSWER: That's what happened. First time for me having this happen. "But we know: it is never your own mistake, it is alwys another one .... " Yes, it was their mistake. ????

Due 5th November.
-
Thanks, it was due on the 5th November 2022 and they previously sent me an email that I could now do my report, so I did it on the 25th October.
-
I had forgotten about this. I submitted my 90 day report on the 25th October 2022 by internet and a computer generated form reference: TM47-46-************** was created by the TM47 people and submitted. I just checked today and the application is 'pending'. Never had a problem before, but I presume something is wrong as still 'pending'. What to do?

Sick pay, severance and the like.

Now I'm not sure I have this 100% correct. Australian Swinburne University partnered with a Thai company establishing a Laem Chabang School of Engineering. After 6 to 8 years the Aussie mob pulled out, leaving just the Thai partner and eventually everything closed. The Farang staff were not paid out their full entitlement. -

Thanks @In the jungleI took off the base and played with the switch, all good now. About B300 for cost of unit when i looked. B5000 No way. But....worked well.
-
Yes I have looked. I'm looking for a recommendation. Which ones.
-
I need a 12V battery charger for my deisel genset. Mainly to float charge the diesel battery. I had a great one, a CTEK MXS 5.0. Worked really well till it failed. Looking at a replacement price of around B5000 for the same unit, I was thinking of asking here if anyone can recommend a good unit at a lesser price. If not then I'll buy another CTEK MXS 5.0.

Sounds about right. We need to have a beer two. ???? When I lived in the NT, out camping I stopped the tinny at some BIG Croc tracks up the river bank. Little Sproc son and I got out to investigate (stupid I know). So we walked an Benjamin stopped and said: Look out dad!...here he comes!....I s**t myself and of we ran into the tinny. Now nearly 50 yrs later we still enjoy the memory. ????
