  1. Some posters may not have noticed that the topic title is about an event at Suvarnabhumi airport in Thailand. I have now cleaned up the topic.
  2. The above part of the text shown on the website of the Immigration Bureau is incorrect. Whether the Immigration Bureau did this due to ignorance or deliberately in order to frighten foreigners, I do not know.
  3. ChayaTH did not mention any APIS (Advance Passenger Information System)
  4. In Thailand, my wife does the booking and the check-in, both for our flights and the hotels, and for both check-ins she asks for my passport before she walks up to the counter. Therefore, I can say that no hotel in Thailand is asking me for my passport. When I travel alone, eg for business, I proffer my passport without waiting to see whether I am being asked for a document.
  5. Was the receipt for 1,600 Baht?
  6. I have a feeling he didn't mean flying out of the country.
  7. Deleting the topic would be inappropriate but it can be closed, which I now will do. Don't worry, nobody will call you or think of as an idiot for having started this topic to seek help.
  8. You don't have to go to your immigration office to confirm any information the owner (to whom referred as the landlord) supplied to immigration with his TM.30 notification of your arrival. Regarding your reference to "the 90 day window", this is the place where you submit your notifications of your intention to stay in Thailand longer than 90 days.
  9. There is no requirement for pool villa developments to sumit the TM.30 notification.
  10. Immigration offices do not issue passports.
  11. Does "Maneerat Travel Soi Post Office" handle applications for extensions of stay at "Chaeng Wattana"?
  12. You can get a re-entry permit valid for multiple entries. This allows you to re-enter Thailand an unlimited number of times during the validity period of your permission to stay.
  13. Thank you. In future, please write your posts entirely in English.
  14. The way that text is written, it means that the visa is valid for travel to Thailand within 30 days from the visa's date of issue. This is not in line with the information on the website of Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  15. Let's assume that you mean one million Baht, not one minute (one sixtieth of an hour) Baht.
  16. Seeing how casually some immigration offices ignore the Police Regulation of June 2020 I was wondering whether it was perhaps just an internal guideline for the Immigration Bureau but I have found that it was published in the Royal Gazette on 16 June 2020. A copy of it is available for download on the website dl.parliament.go.th at the URL https://drmlib.parliament.go.th/site.php?mod=document&op=preview&url=aHR0cHM6Ly9kbC5wYXJsaWFtZW50LmdvLnRoL2JpdHN0cmVhbS9oYW5kbGUvMjAuNTAwLjEzMDcyLzU2MzY2Mi82MzA2MTZfMV8xNDElRTAlQjglODclRTAlQjglOUUlRTAlQjglQjQlRTAlQjklODAlRTAlQjglQTglRTAlQjglQTkucGRmP3NlcXVlbmNlPTE=&handle=563662&email=&v=preview
  17. It is important to note that according to the Police Regulation dated 30 June 2020 the fact that a foreigner is "returning to the same address" does not, by itself, exempt the foreigner from submitting a new TM.30. In addition, entry into Thailand must have been made with a valid re-entry permit, or a valid multiple-entry visa that was already used previously, ie the second or subsequent entry with the visa. There will, of course, always be the odd immigration office that will not implement the provisions of this Police regulation correctly.
  18. No wonder. They did not understand what you meant by MENO. @MangoKorat and everyone else: Please stop using the unusual and confusing acronym MENO for the multiple-entry non-O visa on this forum. Thank you.
  19. Could the problem be that although immigration writes "incorrect visa expiration date", they really mean incorrect expiration date of permission to stay?
  20. Toplc closed. For over a week since this topic started, No-one from a country other than New Zealand has come forward and posted that the visa fees have been increased.
  21. That's a very interesting detail. Thank you for having discovered it and posting it here.
