  1. One would need to be a bit dim not to notice the country is under martial law since Russia invaded it in Feb-2022. Therefore political parties esp pro Russian will be taking a back seat for the foreseeable until Russia stops the illegal aggression and exits.
  2. Based on what? Your own biased viewpoint? As of April 14, 2025, Volodymyr Zelenskyy remains relatively popular in Ukraine, with recent polls indicating a trust or approval rating around 57% to 67%, depending on the survey and the time frame. Several reputable polls, such as those from the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) and Ipsos, show that his support has stabilized or even slightly increased in early 2025, particularly after international challenges like his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. For example, a KIIS poll in March 2025 reported 67% trust, up from 57% in February, while an Ipsos poll for The Economist in March found over 70% approval. However, his popularity has declined from the peak of around 90% during the early stages of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022, due to war fatigue, corruption concerns, and other challenges. These polls suggest Zelenskyy is still the most popular politician in Ukraine, though he faces potential competition from figures like Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the former military chief, who polls show could be a strong contender if elections were held. Elections are currently prohibited under martial law, which has been extended until at least May 9, 2025, so no official voting has taken place since 2019. The data comes from credible Ukrainian and international polling organizations, though some skepticism exists about poll accuracy due to the ongoing war and displacement of voters. Posts on X show mixed opinions, with some claiming lower support, but these are not backed by verifiable data and often reflect bias rather than fact.
  3. Look at the value of the USD, US Bonds and Stock Market all pointing south. Need any more facts?
  4. The US slap tariffs on China… then raises them… then raise them again, which makes China slam the US with massive retaliatory tariffs. Then the US lift those tariffs for a few weeks like it’s a limited-time Netflix subscription, only to maybe bring them back… because they're supposedly trying to “bring manufacturing home.” But wait! They're also using those same tariffs that they want to remove to raise revenue to pay down the debt, by taxing the very industries they want to move there, while simultaneously negotiating trade deals that would eliminate most tariffs altogether. And through all of this, they’re telling China, “We’ll stop our tariffs if you stop your tariffs,” like it's a playground standoff between toddlers with lunch money. Totally makes sense. Crystal clear. What a flawless strategy.
  5. Is that because only liberals know how to use smart phones?
  6. In the news "US President Donald Trump's administration has exempted smartphones and computers from reciprocal tariffs, including the 125% levies imposed on Chinese imports. US Customs and Border Patrol published a notice late on Friday explaining the goods would be excluded from Trump's 10% global tariff on most countries and the much larger Chinese import tax. The move comes after concerns from US tech companies that the price of gadgets could skyrocket, as many of them are made in China. " Any hill billy on the street would know that? Why didn't the administration think about this before applying the tariffs of up to 125% beforehand and wiping trillions off the stock market? This also amplifies uncertainty, does not help business because who knows what comes next after the idiot finishes his round of golf.
  7. Bill Maher had a surprise dinner with President Donald Trump at the White House, which he described as a more relaxed and self-aware version of the president compared to his public persona. Maher reported that Trump acknowledged their private conversation would not change his public image, and that he would continue to criticize the administration in his commentary. The dinner, which was also attended by Kid Rock and UFC CEO Dana White, was described as going well.
  8. Its macro economic news to most people who don't politicize their every thought. The economy is heading for a recession.
  9. Not a prediction, its happening now. Take your MAGA tinted glasses off.
  10. There are a lot of very poorly educated people in the US, probably close to 50% or more are barely literate, and yet they vote. They're unhappy about their financial situation, which really is due to their poor education more than anything else, and they resent the well paid and educated class. Suddenly they are presented with a presidential candidate who sounds as ignorant as they themselves are and yet is a Billionaire. His stupidity resonates with theirs and gives them conviction that wealth doesn't depend on intelligence, as Trump clearly proves, and so they blame the government or deep state or the elite, etc, and vote for the stupid man. This is also the Achille's heel of representative democracies. What is happening is not just happening in the US, it's happening in Europe as well, we're just ahead of the curve. This is exactly how things played out in 1930s Germany. Hitler was considered a loud mouth buffoon who everyone at the time, including newspapers, openly mocked and laughed at, but in the end we all know how that ended up.
