  1. Spot on. There is very little gainful employment here in Land of Greed. Even for university graduates. They work long hours for poverty wages. Forced to go into huge debt and forever a pawn of the elites. Much easier to screw or blow a dude and make more in an hour than 2-5 days work. Much more enjoyable too as vast majority of "customers" treat the girls very well.
  2. Am talking about any and all. Of course they do not breed naturally. Luxury??? Forced to have sex...MAYBE? Try artificially inseminated. You seem to be referring to Old Macdonald's Farm. Familiar with Big Agra and factory farms? Abhorrent places which pretty much sent Old Macdonald the way of the rotary-dial telephone and just as long ago. In the USA almost 99% are factory farms and globally around 90%.. This is not my personal view, just the actual facts and horrendous reality. Boggles the brain how anyone can push back against and oppose efforts to limit the unnecessary suffering and of exploitation of innocent creatures that have no voice to speak out for themselves.
  3. Spot on but there is plenty of that diversity of destination here already. Also "entertainment areas" and other Red Light Districts are easily avoided. I worked alot in Amsterdam and most tourists, including old married women...first place they wanted to go was The Red Light District! Thailand is a country of overly sensitive, hi-so pretenders, 1st world wannabes and hypocrites.
  4. A fair point, but do you know for a fact she hasn't? Perhaps she is aware and consistent. Using faux leather bags and cruelty-free cosmetics certainly isn't a new or novel idea you just came up with. There are literally hundreds of cruelty-free brands of cosmetics alone.
  5. Regardless whether carnivore, omnivore or herbivore...seems everyone "human" should be onboard with at least supporting the idea of reducing suffering of ALL animals, not just the human animal. Especially the unnecessary suffering caused for fashion statements or sensory pleasure, aka taste buds. Bizarre how highly evolved and intellectually superior we consider ourselves, as humans...yet many/most couldn't act less "human" when it comes to the exploitation and suffering of our fellow sentient earthlings.
  6. No Thailand’s border closure yet The borders may be slightly more open, but hardly easy and certainly not at all welcoming, with nothing to offer, once jumping thru flaming hoops getting here. This Covidiocy is neverending. This place will ???? ???? and overreact AGAIN, close the borders AGAIN and unnecessarily keep it closed/lock it down internally AGAIN. ????
  7. Guess I need to get out at night more! Been going on forever...and not only Thailand. ????
  8. This "guv'nor" is a fool and a tool. Agree with @smedly, there's some hidden and underhanded agenda at work here.
  9. 555 there won't be any "rewards". Propaganda. All a scheme. All for show, like everything here in Land of Schemes, Scams and Ineptitude.
  10. Typically Thailand! Surprised she even got this far, with the guy at least faking it. All of these are simply schemes and all for show, without action. The apathy and Ineptitude of the of this country is gross and astounding.
  11. Absolutely! Loved it before Chang was born. They brought it back promotionally 10 or so years ago. Had a few in Beer Garden Soi 7 (BKK).
  12. He's only questioning it NOW??? I been questioning it since Day 1. ????
  13. Some of the staff were there, especially in the coffee shop, for 40-50 years.
  14. Yes, but to my recollection neither was very "guest friendly". Or am I mistaken? Could bring 2 or 3 "guests" to the Honey and they wouldn't even ask for their IDs...unless you wanted them to.
  15. What year? First stayed in 1992. Pretty much knew most/all staff by face, not name, from 1995 till closing a few years ago. Called it "home" for better part of 20 years. They stored 2 big tote bags for me in the storage room behind reception. Even after finally getting an apartment in 2012, kept returning for 4-5 nights every other month to enjoy the pool and get the GF out of the kitchen. Their coffee shop/restaurant was awesome too!
  16. Chang wasn't around in the '70s '80s or even early '90s. It was introduced in 1995. They changed the formula, much to my chagrin, and started bottling it in those awful green bottles, in 2015.
  17. No, but close. It was on the opposite side of Suk. If memory serves, the one that got dozed by Chuwit was. Sukhumvit Square.
  18. All-time favorite after hours disco....Rainbow 2000.
  19. How about the original Chang formula with 6.4% alcohol! Best Thai beer ever.
  20. "Amazing Thailand"??? 555 That ended a decade after the shirt came out. Been there...done that...got the T-shirt! Guess they didn't get the memo...that's OVER. It's Amusing Thailand now. ????
