Yellowbook has the ID number which is tied to the individual listed inside of it in the first position. My Pink ID card has the same number and is why the book was given to me by the Amphur and the book not canceled. In the computer they removed my information from the residence and if my daughter had wanted her new stepfather to be listed at the residence a new yellowbook would have had to be done. Fact......not fiction. -

I had a yellow book in Udon, and when I bought my condo after my divorce the amphur in Udon issued me a document and gave my yellowbook back to me as my Pink ID card is tied to it and I am sure that they will not change my ID number. I now also have a house in PKK and will see if they will just put the new address in my yellow book by changing it on the nside front cover as the Amphur in Udon told me to have done. I do have a yellow book for the condo in BKK but only my partner is listed in it as she is from Myanmar......never tried to add myself to it. Pretty sure you can not be listed in two yellowbooks just like a Thai can not be listed in two bluebooks. My condo and house bluebooks are empty except for the address information as we are not Thai. My half Thai daughter is the only one in the Udon houses Blue book as I made sure she was named as the house owner upon my divorce. My usufruct was then removed by going to the land office when the Chanote was changed into her name. -

Get a usufruct...do the research. The one I obtained for the Land and house in Udon was completed at the Land office and was good for my life, at the time I had just turned 50. It is up to the land office if they will do the usufruct this way. You can always do a leasehold which would be for 30 years and if the land owner (wife) was still willing to do another 30 years you could do another one at the end of the first 30 years. The Chanote will be in her name but your Info will go on the back for the usufruct. As far as the house goes yes you can own the structure but you will not be listed in the blue book, for that you will need to do a yellowbook. Best to find a real estate lawyer who can assist you. -
American Sportswriter Grant Wahl dies covering World Cup !
ThailandRyan replied to Social Media's topic in World News
48 is way to young to be dying. He thought he had bronchitis, but I do not think that is what he died from. It sounds like a sudden myocardial infarction. Hope they update the story, he was a good sportswriter and I started reading his articles in 1997 when I subscribed to SI. May the man RIP. -
Biden should acknowledge Thailand’s roll in capturing Viktor Bout

Why thank Thailand...will Thailand now admit to having black sites in the country... -
You sure like to troll and try and bait folks don't you. Never complained once, enjoyed all the trips around Thailand with no one around....

It is why I decided to stay at the house in PKK except for a trip back to the condo to shop and doctors visits...

Try again...posted and explained what you need if you don't like border runs....simple or if your funds allow apply for one of the LTR visas, or an Elite. You don't need to be 50 or older if you qualify. I could care less about post count. Relevant info is always needed not someone crying in their spilt milk.... since you don't want an extension your choices for a border hop were limited. Glad it worked for you.

In other words he/she/it/they, as I will refer to that certain poster as, were doing nothing but trolling and baiting with the posts made.

All advice already given to a poster who is trolling the OP and ignoring what advice he/she/it/they have been given.

if your wealthy and under 50 you buy the Thai elite visa, and then once you turn 50 you then get yourself an O Visa and then an extension or if you qualify get a 10 year LTR visa based upon being a wealthy global citizen. You really have a hard time finding the best ways to stay in Thailand without playing the education Visa or Fight Visa game....easy to stay here and no it is not because one pays an agent to make it legal, you pay an agent to assist you. So many ways....yet you just want to fight it....stop being stubborn. Did you even look at the link I posted for you?

The issue is how are you self funded. If its being a digital nomad with contracts outside of the country then you might qualify for a Smart Visa, or a LTR Visa if you can meet the requirements as a working from Thailand professional. https://ltr.boi.go.th/

Yes Tramadol is available, but now they want to see your ID, write the information in a ledger and have you sign it. This was as of last week here in HH at the pharmacy I also obtain my diabetic meds from.

Here in the Khao Tao area I hear them every time the train is rolling trough the area. Be it during the day or when it wakes me like at 4 am this past morning.....some people just learn to tune them out, me its a relaxing sound to hear the trains coming or going past my house on the tracks and then of course the horns....so I will agree to disagree with you.

So if being in violation of immigration law and overstaying is not an offense then why are people jailed, fined and deported after seeing a judge...try again. You really have never learned anything about law enforcement during your lifetime have you. Turning off your GPS, your location and doing a few root things to your phone can make you invisible as well as bouncing your signal across the globe. I had a case where we tracked an individual to the location of a crime by his phones signal, connection, GPS and a few other proprietary computer programs. Yet when it came to court the judge threw it out as we did not have a search warrant for his phones signal.........

I went to change my address this past week to here in HH and was met with many obstacles in completing a new TM-30 as I have a condo in BKK and am registered there. The IO wanted to know why I wanted to do a new residence registration if I was going back and forth to my condo, which I also own. I explained that this was now my new primary address. Many people move and never update the information. I also tried to change my address with DLT on my licenses and vehicle registration books, only to be told I had to go the Bangkok and change it there, or instead go to the PKK Mueang and change my license plates to the plates from this province and then I needed to have my blue book and so on. Why do you think Thais never change there addresses, it is such a hassle. Tracking someone who does not do a 90 day report and is just an overstaying tourist who is flying under the radar and staying with friends etc... is pretty hard to do. I told the lady at the DLT I needed to change my address in case I ever caught a speeding ticket issued by the radar cameras that I would receive the ticket with the right address on it and in a timely manner before my fine increased and my points with the new system increased......it is not rocket science here, yet they make it tough to just do something so simple. She informed me either go change my plates on my car and motorbike in PKK at the main office, or go to Chatuchack and have them change it in the system so I can keep my plates and so on......... I also went to PEA and tried to change the PEA Bill into my name but since my blue book has no name in it they told me I would need a yellow book showing I reside there, and no the COR I had obtained at HH Immigration was not good enough.

Yet if someone was serious as a criminal and overstayed, do you really think they would keep a sim card they had and the same number...try again. When I first came here years ago I changed my sim card monthly after the promotion ran out and to many BS calls occurred because they were looking for their friend who had the number prior to me. I use my Smart phone without a sim card now adays and use the calling apps which are free, like messenger and so on. How do you track that......especially with a VPN running.
