Many here in Thailand in the outer areas never did get vaccinated, and many of those early ones with Sinopharm never went and got boosted, while others fell victim to believing the false anti-vaxxer driven narratives, but then thats just my 2 cents worth. I had my 2 AZ vaccines in 2021, had a Moderna booster in January of 2022, and 3 months later had a bout of covid, minor in nature. I was waiting on a second generation vaccine for my 2nd booster but those are still lagging here in Thailand. I have been vaccinated against the Flu for the past 20 years and have never had the flu, yet I have had pneumonia and only after that did I start getting the pneumococcal vaccination. All vaccines are hit and miss depending on how ones body takes to the vaccination. X-ray's can also kill you and make you celibate but I am sure you still get an x-ray when needed. I guess you eat your own organically grown fruits and vegetables as well as your own farm raised meats so that your sure of what chemicals, pesticides and other types of vaccines/chemicals had been inspected and checked. At the end of the day everyone is susceptible to some kind of reaction to anything eaten, taken, or injected (bee sting) etc.....yet you want to rail on about the vaccines....toodles.

Question is "Was it a brand name rice in a sealed bag sold at the "Market" or one of those hand packed bags with a rubber band around the top many sell in the local Talad. I personally would not but anything that had not been processed from a Talad, and was rice they packed from their own crop. BIL probably takes good care of their rice crop and the rice is dried properly out in the sun and then possibly processed at a mill and not by hand. Best to toss out what you bought and go buy a bag from 7-11 or one of the regular markets and not a Talad, but if your out far away then you just need to look at the bag your going to buy closely. I did that when I lived out in the village 30km from a store, where we grew our own rice and corn. The rice was laid out on a tarp on the side of the road to dry, picked through and then taken to the mill. A few of the farmers tended to mill there own to save money and never let the rice dry out completely in the hot sun and the eggs would hatch after being placed in the bags........again YMMV
