How is my post BS. Is or isn't Thailand desperate to revive tourism?

It was only time before the Orangeman used the word Fired as I suggested in my post above. This is starting to remind me of a trip to Toy's R Us once upon a time. A mother had her two children with her and was shopping for a birthday gift for a party the young boy was going to attend, but the daughter was having non of it and flung herself to the floor and proceeded to throw a screaming, crying, temper tantrum. This so much reminds me of Trumps twitter and social media posts. The man may have been the POTUS at one time, but he never acted Presidential in any spectrum, always acted like a spoiled child. I think he is still trying to figure out how his master plan has hit a major crevice in the road.....he truly believed that this Judges dealings with the FBI would shut the DOJ and FBI's case down........well Mr. Orangeman you can not un-hire him or use your favorite words "Your Fired"....

I feel sorry for all of the people misled by the great snake oil salesman known as the Orangeman. He has told so many lies that when told over and over again people believe them to be truth. Well this judge is not putting up with any BS, and this can be observed with his initial assessment of the Trump lawyers attempt at once again playing games. Trumps attorney's argue that if they give the court what it wants it will lay bare there defense of the Orangeman. You can not have your cake and eat it to. They tried this route to block the DOJ and FBI of continuing in building the case against Trump and his aides, but at the same time have back themselves into a corner they themselves can not escape from.

So how does this work as I am asking for a friend who is a leper and has had two fingers fall off this past week. He is a tuberculosis blood coughing lunger who was bitten by a Tsetse Fly and his left leg has expanded to a 4 xl size after visiting a brothel in Guyana and picking up syphilis. He smokes crack daily and takes injections of morphine to dull the pain which is causing his kidneys to shut down. On the bright side he has Covid now and it appears he can enter Thailand with no problems while infecting all on the plane since mask wearing has been abolished..... Do I have this correct?

Great place to visit but even slower than Hu Hin/Pranburi. We visit for a week every 6 months and stay in town and on the River in a floating resort off the grid for a few days.

The point of a trip is to go where others have not trampled and made a popular destination tourist trap. I miss the Thailand I was born in. Visited many times in my youth places which today have become spoiled. Left in 1970 and did not return until the military brought me here on a mission in 1984. No I am not Thai, just born to two American service members here in BKK.

Exactly it makes life interesting.

So I would not need to actually visit Thailand and Pattaya if I had VR Glasses....good to know, now my travels can be done in the comfort of my own den....

@TallGuyJohninBKK as always your trip reports always line out what us who follow your visits end up using to ensure we have a smooth extension process. It was unfortunate the I/O's did not like the bankbook issue you stated in your post above, but in the end it all worked out. I am awaiting to hear back from the BOI LTR Unit by the end of this month, if it is not as I hope, then I will be following in your steps this next Month as October is when I always do my extension trips to CW. Whatever the outcome is I will post my trip report into this OP as I have done for the past few years. These trip reports for extensions are one of the main reasons I started to view this Forum, back when it was TV and now AN, as it has a lot of useful information folks can follow and have no issues when the time comes. As always thank you for leading the way. BTW did you make an online appointment through the website or was that not available for doing the extension like we have done in the past. * I see you answered the above question in the post above.

Nope, you covered many of the Areas in year 2 as you seem to have more than a 2 week vacation availability.

Shame that someone makes vacation plans based upon how long bars are opened for here in Thailand. So many other things to do and see. Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, hiking and so mcuh more to do...

A friend of mine many many years ago said Tourists to Thailand take 5 years to discover the real Thailand. The first trip is to Bangkok. The second to Phuket. The third Trip to Chiang Mai. The fourth trip to Ayutthaya, the the fifth trip to rural Issan or the deep south. Of course if they had 10 weeks to visit at one time they could do it all once and add in Pattaya and Hua Hin. In the end however, home is what you make of it and how you want to live. Many rent for a few years in locations before determining where they want to be. It would be a mistake to decide you want to be in just one place without travelling and buying a condo or a home in that first location.
