Exactly I never said being healthy does keep you or does not keep one from getting covid. My response was to another's past. It may reduce or may not reduce, it depends on the Individual. As I said don't compare yourself to others our bodies are all different no matter what shape we are in. -

Why compare yourself and your illness to others? As I said Covid affects all people differently. Who says those getting Covid are not healthy. Again your making assumptions. Not a narrative. I am not saying you must wear a mask, but for someone who did the same things day in and day out with a mask and then when they went without one and then picked up the virus, it does show a correlation, actually it's common sense. Don't wear one I could care less. However, don't expect t others to do as you do or are doing. I won't expect it either. -

However, I have many friends who are very active not obese in anyway shape or form and yet Covid hit them soon after they stopped wearing a mask here in BKK. one has been hit extremely hard and he is in the hospital. Covid affects all folks differently don't compare yourself to others. And do not expect others to believe it's nothing to be concerned with. -
Exactly. I do remember asked for my boarding pass when I reentered the country on Feb 26 this year along with the TM6. I showed it to him on my Delta App. Hard to write anything on my electronic copy to hand them nowadays since the TM6 is scrapped now. I envision a QR Code App or App one will need to fill out on there phones upon entering the country j6st like we did when travelling into Phuket, leaving Phuket, Flying into Chizng Mai and then when flying out during Covid times. If that happens then they have not really scrapped the TM6.

Pray tell, please explain in detail. Enquiring minds wish to know. I once met myself when I looked in the mirror, and boy was I disappointed. -
Where can you get monkeypox vaccine?
ThailandRyan replied to topswijaya's topic in Health and Medicine
Why?, there has not been one known case in Thailand -
I needed to do a border bounce in 2018 and was down to just the back 2 pages for an actual Visa sticker from Laos. As my other pages all were 2/3rds full. They used the last page, endorsement pages begrudgingly but still I was able to bounce out and then back in as there was room for the Thai stamps on a previous page. I then went to the embassy and got a new passport upon my return to Bangkok. It is doable but I would try and get a new passport. They do not add pages anymore.

Over the years the superannuation pensions that Australia has for some employees is the same as the Defined Benefit pensions from the US. However those types of pensions have have slowly disappeared, only about 4% of folks have them now), and so folks are having to create there own by a combination of SS, 401k's, and 457"s stock portfolios, which have taken some pretty big hits lately. Retiring from State Service, I never paid into the SS program only paid into my pension program, so I can not receive SS. The Pension I have is a lifetime benefit and grows each year do to the COLA adjustments, it will never decrease. I can say that even with this amount that living in the US is tight for a family, well in California, New York and a few other states based upon federal, and state taxes, as well as property taxes, and then Mortgages many still have after refinancing the homes to send there kids to University. Had 2 friends retire and move to Australia as the spouses were originally from Australia, Also had a friend move to New Zealand and start his second life with a job there. From the Job I retired from if you put in 30 years you retired at the max of 90% of your monthly income. Of course taking out the medical insurance and so on does reduce the actual amount you end up with as an actual take home amount. It is why many move to the Midwest of the US to live or overseas too the Phils, Thailand or Cambodia as the cost of living is about 1/3rd of what it is in the US and you can live comfortably.

I have a 4 foot long piece of the 1/2" blue PVC, and a box of metal screws with duct tape wrapped around the screw head. Pop it into the end of the PVC and you have a blowgun. Of course that was back in the states, where I also had a handgun. Use the blowgun also when I lived on the property in Udon Thani.........never had any dogs come and attack ours after the first time.........It was fun to shoot the jingjok's off of the walls as well.

I think you nailed it spot on.....the mask haters, or the ones who refer to them by salacious names have another opinion, which we know by now........they need to grow some thick skin as their fragile ego's can not stand to be boxed into a corner. -
We should never be surprised TIT, and they always find a way to make things overly complicated to justify their lofty positions....okay so that's just my opinion, but is it.......

Nobody said you had to wear it now did they. Your fragile ego has definitely been affected. Give it a rest. Save yourself some stress and find a different op that will keep your blood pressure down. -
