Forza350 vs. ADV350 vs. Xmax300
ThailandRyan replied to aldriglikvid's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Average speed as indicated by my bikes computer after filling it up prior to the rude and then zeroing it out fir tge return. It is how I track the routes for travel based upon the roads. If I was just cruising then max of 75 on the highway, but then you get run over by faster moving traffic. I have always driven the speed if the cars, while passing the trucks to the right, not the left side like most bike riders do. I ride as I was trained. -

I rode one for work, so was that so I could have people look at me? I rode one in my personal life because they were fantastic to ride. Your statement "they're for people who like to be looked at" couldn't be further from the truth. Jealousy must play a part in why you view it that way. How about those flashy Ducattis, Porsche, BMWs or Mercedes are they driven to impress others and be looked at. A Bike is a Bike, a tool to be used for pleasure, work or an enjoyable time and nothing else. -
More than 5M Chinese Visitors expected in Thailand next year

Is that your personal view or those of the ones who post misinformation. All deaths are not because of natural causes or regular sicknesses in this world. However, the response to covid possibly saved millions upon millions of lives, yet you see it differently. Fair enough just don't trivialize it like you have and do. I lost friends and family who are gone to soon because of Covid and nothing more. -
Thanks for telling me OMF but think about how i used the term "My friend" and you will see its not used as such a term. Living here as long as I have I see things differently than you do. Having been married into a military and police family I have observed very different things in my life here as far as those who give things to the military or police.

Yes they were pretty empty, it's why we went when we did before all of the New Years travel. Drove the car into HH yesterday to stock up and traffic was busy already at 2pm. Coming home at 5pm was even worse until we headed over the flyaway by the Holiday Inn, then traffic died down. I think HH will be busy over this 4 day weekend. We will stay south as always and visit our many unused beaches. Planning to ride south on the Xmax to Chumpon in a few weeks. -

Tell me more please, I was unaware that they died in the same numbers from other things. Oh right it's all fiction to you and those you follow, I remember now. -

Yet millions of others have had it so bad they are hospitalized or even died. Stop trying to trivialize it. -
They gave them roses as a token of their love, now that's full on BS. Only Royalists truly love the military my friend. Here is an older article which explains it. https://www.newmandala.org/the-challenges-for-thailand’s-arch-royalist-military/ More often, regal civilians have found themselves collaborating with soldiers against elected civilian rule. Indeed, Thailand’s democratic trajectory was abruptly terminated in 1947 through the joint efforts of the military and royalists.

You should really think about Covid as a truly reprehensible virus unlike the Flu and Cold virus, and stop with the "fear is a strong addiction" comments. Covid misinformation is what creates the bigger picture, not Fear https://www-nytimes-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.nytimes.com/2022/12/28/technology/covid-misinformation-online.amp.html?amp_gsa=1&_js_v=a9&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM%3D#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16723269562999&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nytimes.com%2F2022%2F12%2F28%2Ftechnology%2Fcovid-misinformation-online.html It’s easy to forget that health misinformation, including about Covid, can still contribute to people not getting vaccinated or creating stigmas,” said Megan Marrelli, the editorial director of Meedan, a nonprofit focused on digital literacy and information access. “We know for a fact that health misinformation contributes to the spread of real-world disease.” -
50 Thais trapped in burning Cambodian casino Wednesday night

Watching the Channel 34 HD news now, and it says that 13 are confirmed dead with 100 hospitalized. Video show folks jumping from the upper floors. May they RIP. The phots show a huge complex between the Casino, a hotel and attached apartments where the employee's lived. -
This, makes complete sense now when I actually sit back and think about it, and does create an anomaly and inconsistency for LTR Visa Holders from inside the country who were actually stamped in their PP and did not receive an e-visa . As you wrote: "Misty has no reentry stamp (or any stamps), having gone the out-of-country route. Thus, Imm reaches for the stamp commensurate with type of visa: Non Imm O, 90 days; Tourist, 60 days; Non Imm OA, one year. Thus, as long as visa hasn't expired, Imm has a rote procedure. Now added to this procedure is a five-year stamp for a non expired LTR visa."

Forza350 vs. ADV350 vs. Xmax300

Load on the BMW was just one person, unsure what they had in the side bags and back box. On the other hand my bike had myself at 98kg and the GF at 45kg. True the TMax is a bigger and heavier bike, but then I don't ride into the city (BKK) and don't need to negotiate traffic. I have a car for that, when the need arises. When i lived in BKK i did ride the Xmax around town and it is hard to squeeze through traffic lije the smaller bikes do, but i dont mind having to sit in traffic. I have never found parking an issue anywhere I have gone. Traveling to visit places out of the way is easier on the bike and you see things from a different perspective. -

Highway 4 on the way down and coastal roads coming back. Average speed going was 110 kph coming back the Avg was 80 kph. Had two BMW bikes ride with me on the coast through Ao Noi and then when we hit the main road off they went.
