It is 19 C at the house in PKK and 23 C here at the condo in BKK now at 7:40 am. I created the account but when I list my LTRWP number it gives me the pop up I showed above....

My concern is that the program may see my application as still not being completed and until it is the system will not allow me to add my dependent. All of the previous 2 screens, obviously not Step1, will not let me add any information or delete anything. This box was checked "No" at first and I declined a work permit, Now its marked "Yes" so I wonder if that is the glitch and will take a programmer to release my application so it can be adjusted.

So checking my screen again to see what has changed as far as the status goes it now says Return Pre-approved....what exactly are they indicating. I still can not add my dependent using another application as it keeps giving me a pop up. I am in BKK now and will head over to BOI in the morning to see what is going on. I already have my LTRWP visa and my status screen should show completed. Whatever the glitch is is will not let me create the second account. Weird. Going back into my application I have 4 new document request notifications, for which I do not need and did not apply for a work permit These just appeared today on my app on the 4th and final page for uploading documents. As you all know I received my actual LTR visa and was stamped into the country on October 7th.

So how far down do they consider where the south starts.

This is not in Thailand, or about Thai's queuing. A border bounce is basically what these folks are doing by going into Penang to get a new Visa to re-enter Thailand for long term stays.

No pandemic fear of mask wearing Richard. It is what it is, accept it or don't. We went to Lumpini Park last night for a very very crowded festival and Christmas sales booth they are having. Did not see one unmasked individual and this included the foreigners we saw.....At DLT yesterday in both Chatuchack and then over in Bang Khun Tian, 100% mask wearing by both foreigners and Thais alike. In at Tops Club on Rama 2 also 100% masked I observed. Of course it is the cooler season and all virus's are making a comeback. On the MRT yesterday 100% mask wearing again and this included the foreigners. Not seeing many unmasked these past few days, and that includes watching the news on the television. Talked to my sister in the US, California, and she and the family have started to wear masks again as the cases are spiking upwards. Wear one if you want and feel the need to but stop with the drivel about the world has moved on. People realize that masks do assist, except the anti-masker brigade. When in BKK here at the Condo we wear them unless no one is around us, in PKK we wear them only when going into crowded places which include the malls and the bank.

Your just a long term tourist as far as Thailand is concerned. Unless you have a permanent residence card you have no rights in this country and can be asked to leave whenever they tire of us foreigners. An extension of stay is just that a 1 year extension to stay in the country under the rules and regulations therein placed in the royal gazette. I have a new LTR style visa which gives me a 5 year and then another 5 year period to stay in the country, but make no mistake I may live here but do know that I can be denied the ability to stay in a flash, no matter if I have a Thai wife and a half Thai child, own my condo and my house with a 30 year leasehold, all of that can evaporate in a minutes notice so acting commensurate with the population is always the best idea, when in rome.......
