If people would switch from alcohol to weed there would be much less violence and alcohol-related illness in Thailand. Utterly fatuous comment from the PM.
Notwithstanding the comments by JustAnotherHun this is a move in the right direction. It introduces a degree of control, at least, over a substance which has hitherto been in the hands of gangs/ criminals.
PM's true colours now revealed by a covert interview conducted abroad, including a comment that he intends to eliminate any sense of a 'free wheeling liberal atmosphere' in Thailand. What a miserable prospect.
