    Depends entirely in how you want/are able to live. In my own case 65k baht would barely cover the wages of the 4 domestics I employ.

    Good report. Personally I have never had any problems with extensions, both at Chaengwattana and, previously, at Sathorn. I have so far never made an appointment for extensions, but I will now start to do so as age catches up with me.

    One issue with which I can agree with Trump is his insistence that Nato members should pay their fair share of defence costs. Too many of them fall way below the agreed 2.5% of GDP.

    It must be deep in our psyche. Not that long ago we controlled 25% plus of the world's population and land mass so we tend to think we can go anywhere, and behave badly, with impunity. The sad reality is that we are greatly reduced, and struggle just to run our own, relatively small, country. Our politicians are full of s..t, as are our rivers, beaches and reservoirs.
