The objections by the coup- appointed 'senators' to any change in the lese majeste law are entirely false and hypocritical. They make a lot of money with the way things are, that is why they want no change.
Farcical and shameful. I wonder if Pita should take the MFP into opposition for now, and focus on the next election when, hopefully, the current bunch of so-called senators will be long gone.
Ridiculous proposal which wilil not help debtors in any way whatsoever. Could, though, push the value of the baht down against foreign currencies which would be good news for many of us.
MFP were always going to be shafted by PT. Best they stay above these treacberous, two-faced squabbles and go into opposition. Times are changing in Thailand and their day will come sooner than the business and military elite imagine.
I hope I'm wrong but it seems likely that 14 million Thais will be ignored and, effectively, cancelled by 250 non-elected senators appointed by those who brought about the latest coup. Shameful, but entirely predictable sad to say.
What needs to be identified and then made public is who it is who is pulling his strings. I have been told he is entirely controlled by family members close to the business and military elite.
I find this obsession with whether or not to wear a mask rather puerile. If Thais feel more comfortable if people generally wear masks that's fine by me. Doesn't bother me one bit.
An utter disgrace. Surely, whatever the circumstances, the mother could find a way to give her baby a chance at life, rather than banging her on the head and chucking her into a rubbish dump? RIP little one. You deserved better than this.
