Thingamabob replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Fraud suspects seem to be rather good at escaping police capture. -

I must have been lucky. Over many years I've never had a problem with a taxi driver in Bangkok, or elsewhere. I prefer using a tollway if appropriate and, of course, I pay the toll fare. If some foreigners are so concerned/worried by spending a bit extra on a taxi journey I wonder if they should be here at all.

Only Chinese will accept the mess that pervades Banthat Thong. No Chinese, no business. -
Report Young British Mum Detained in Germany for Cannabis Smuggling
Thingamabob replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
She was arrested in April according to the report. I wonder if an update is available. Also, her picture looks fake with her head appearing not to fit naturally on to her body. -

Report Thailand Tightens Grip on Retirement Visas Amid Wealth Shift
Thingamabob replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
This article doesn't make sense. If the Thai govt is doing more to attract wealthy retirees by upping the financial qualification requirements one wonders why it's accepting the incursion of thousands of low-spending Indians and Chinese. -
Those in the UK judiciary who are backing a Muslim takeover had better realize they will be the first to be done away with when it comes about.

Peeing in public and bribing a police officer, he was only doing what comes naturally to most Thai men. -
Politics Anutin Out, Prasert In: Cabinet Revamp Shifts Interior Power
Thingamabob replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Maybe I'm missing your point but why would Anutin's removal from the interior ministry keep cannabis legal ? Rather the reverse I would think. It's Anutin's business after all. -
I don't need you to make such a comment. I come from a military family. I am fully aware of the many nationalities, ethnicities and backgrounds of those who fought with my grandfather, who was killed in France in WW1, my father who fought in North Africa in WW2, and his brother, my uncle, who fought in the Burma campaign, also in WW2.

The Britain for which previous generations fought and died to protect is being betrayed by senior members of the civil service, the judiciary and the police.
