    In addition to the damaged passport she had over-stayed her visa, had engaged in a restricted activity, and apparently has no money. Not exactly a well-organised individual.

    On this issue I entirely agree with Anutin. It would send all the wrong messages to potential investors to now flip-flop back from partial de-criminalisation to full re-criminalisation.

    Why ? Way too much speculation, comment, and too many questions, about a possible change to the tax regime which may never happen. Wait and see, and react only when and if it becomes necessary to do so.

    As a Brit I am confused by the visceral hatred expressed against Trump by so many posters on AN. He was President for 4 years during which time he appears to have been no worse than most of his predecessors, and better than many. I am also told by a number of people that know him well that he is a loyal friend, has a likeable personality, and an engaging sense of humour. What, then, is the reason for the hatred ?

    For the umpteenth time, the move to tax foreign remittances etc. is only at the proposal stage. It may never happen.

    What 'bleedin' mess ? I'm not a regular user, however I was prescribed cannabis once, following a bad fall. It reduced the pain and anxiety, and definitely aided my full recovery. In my opinion re-criminalization would be a huge mistake.

    Immigration rules in Thailand are guidelines. Officers make decisions based on their perception of individual cases.
