I am only relating my own experience which is that applying for a retirement extension has become much quicker and easier over time, partly perhaps because, apart from my age, not a single one of my details has changed.

I seem to remember providing more stuff years ago, but as time has gone by, and my 800k has remained untouched, and my details have not changed other than my age (now 83), it has become easier and quicker year by year. Be interesting to know if other old-timers have had a similar experience.

I provided only the completed application form, my passport and copy, my bank book with 800 k and copy, and bank letter.
