Technology police join probe into suicide of victimised boy
Scouse123 replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand
That's the big problem over here ( as well as the UK these days), they don't parent, they think being a good parent is spoiling them and giving in to them. They just aren't there for guidance, advice, help and assistance. The famous mantra here is to wait while things go completely wrong and then ' deny, deny, deny responsibility ' Terrible that should a young boy thought this was an option! RIP young fella, a great shame. -

This is why I love the solitude of living up in the sticks! Each to their own. These type of gatherings are not for me.

You've missed the comparison point I was making completely. Forget it. I gave an example with the above posts I sent. I did NOT consider the 400 baht delivery charge expensive as the posts were over six kilos combined. They were far cheaper and heavier weight than my food deliveries were. That is what I couldn't understand. Anyway, its a customer choice, if we feel it doesn't work for us and we have tried it then we can shop elsewhere. I was stating an opinion that it didn't work for me and that's it. It was mainly meats and cheeses I was buying anyway, which I am able to get similar, but not like for like, options at Makro in Isaarn. You may very well reside in Pattaya or Bangkok and be able to avoid 14/15 GBP delivery charges. All good for you.

I sent a medium sized box to Pattaya by courier full of CDs, rhe cost by private courier was 30 baht. I recently sent to Pattaya, guardrails (×5) which were heavy and a separate box with connecting ropes, total cost was 400 baht and far more weight than any deliveries I have received. I have no problem with people running a business and appreciate overheads and the products are good, but rhe great experience is taken away with expensive delivery costs. We expect with imports and taxes to pay 30-35% more, but alternate delivery services could be looked at.
-
That's exactly why I have had to cancel using them because the delivery charges wipe out the good choice and savings. For delivery I was paying 500/600 baht. Either they are making a lot on delivery charges or they should look at cheaper options for nationwide.

Guys, Everybody seems to try every way and then come back to me and requesting help again after trying every dreamer, promised offering, and cheap option out there. I have used same service for 6 years and same guy. I pay 600 baht a month but some of you insist on listening to people who romanticize and tell you that you can get it free. If you can't pay 600 a month for a full package, don't PM me.
-
I enclose link to many satisfied people I have helped and rest my case. As I have said every time, I get nothing from this and pay every month the same as all other subscribers. Click on the arrow in top right corner of above link.

You are either dreaming or don't understand Thailand:- " Free press, Free and fair elections, freedom of speech and impartial courts?" Never been that way and won't be that way unless there is a top to bottom clear out and that isn't going to happen. It would take a ' force of will for change that is not present in the Thai people "

More than 5M Chinese Visitors expected in Thailand next year

Recent figures showed the Chinese spending is only slightly in front of the West in Thailand and the Indians lag behind. And don't forget the Chinese bring a lot more bodies, so spend per capita probably leans towards the West. -

Because that is the " spin" that certain politicians like to put on it. All the bad things in Thailand is caused by White Western tourists and all the good quality tourists are Chinese and Indian, which is ridiculous we know. They brush under the carpet how fast the Chinese walked away from Thailand and abandoned condos and projects they had signed and committed to when it suited them. It was the diehard Westerners, in their smal way who rallied around and who were organizing charity events and food distribution for the poor in desperate need in Thailand. Because for sure, local and national government were nowhere to be seen, nor were the Chinese! However, most of those in government see nothing except their wonderful Chinese brothers, who,in reality, would drop them like a hot potato as soon as it suited them. China only gets involved in any projects that have a overwheming one sided advantage in their favour. There is no loyalty or fair play in the way they operate. -

I have just read it, In the report I read that part was omitted that it was only for foreigners. I bet one thing, clued up Chinese will be buying it on the black market. Talk about ' completely refusing to accept reality ' what a government attitude, in the face of facts and evidence! -

So here we are now. All those dirty Farang that underwent confinement to hotel rooms for up to a month, then two weeks to get back in to the country to see their partners and kids are " forgotten " Let's chase the " Chinese dream " of the Chinese tourists returning in vast numbers with millions already infected every day in China. But, we won't mention it as we don't want to upset them. Don't worry about our internal Covid19 numbers as Thailand is no longer monitoring Covid19 cases, and nor is China. Great idea everyone....let's just import COVID from China. They've abandoned all checks after 3 years of failure and now let's throw any success Thailand has achieved through vaccinations " down the toilet " The Chinese government are even ordering Pfizer as they have probably realised how useless their own vaccine is- 282 replies
