There was flooding last year and there is flooding this year, whereas for decades there was no such problem. It's almost a given that human activities have contributed to this misery. My wife and I managed to keep dry feet last year, but this year my rental home got a few cm of water inside, having some minor flood damage. We expect even worse it the years to come and will have to take our precautions accordingly. If you live elsewhere in Thailand, don't get your hopes up either. Greater Bangkok is slowly sinking into the rising sea for sure.

I live more than a thousand clicks outside of Bangkok and prefer to not go there. Sometimes it's necessary obv.

I had great speed with the AIS package I bought last year. It was very expensive though and I'm looking to get better value for money. I have an old Xiaomi Android phone btw. Not sure if it can even accommodate an eSim. 4G is the maximum speed for sure.

Here's the deal: I'll be traveling to Western Europe (2 different countrues) in October and I'm wondering whether to get a Ready2Fly package or a Sim2Fly SIM card (eSIM or regular SIM). I'll be there for 18 days including arrival and departure dates, and I need at least 5 GB 4G internet, plus some affordable phone call minutes. The R2F bundles of my carrier, AIS, are pretty expensive when including phone calls. Last year I paid about 3800 baht for their "Hot" package. This year I've been looking into a Sim2Fly SIM card. What do you think suits my needs best?

Same here. I teach in Thailand and it's the end of the first school term. As usual, I always seem to get sick right after classes have finished. This time is no exception.
