  1. My sources Are showing that U.S. inflation and global inflation are correlated, and in particular between advanced economies. If you want more details you can check by year, country, type of economy, etc...here https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/PCPIPCH@WEO/OEMDC/ADVEC/WEOWORLD/USA/FJI I have also shown that the U.S. WTI oil index has been always correlated with Brent and OPEC over time. Now if you are not able to understand how a globalised economy works, and if you are also not able to understand how wholesale crude oil markets work, there's not much I can do for you! 😃 About the Putin's war part, please show me the post where I mentioned it. I did not.

  3. Inflation rates of western countries are correlated, as are oil prices (the source I put comparing the 3 main oil index. (Actually, WTI was a bit cheaper than Brent and OPEC) Should I link an economics text book for you? Are you having hallucinations again? I did not mention Putin's war.
  4. You don't know there is have been a global inflation phenomenon and that oil prices are correlated WW? https://www.statista.com/statistics/256598/global-inflation-rate-compared-to-previous-year/ https://www.statista.com/statistics/326017/weekly-crude-oil-prices/
  5. Of course, RJK Jr is hunting on his territory! 😁
  6. Nice try! Most of the U.S. inflation was due to the global inflation trend, in particular global oil prices.
  7. I did not ask you anything! I replied to another poster (Morgandave)! 😀 Are you having hallucinations now ? 😀
  8. Are you drunk? Your comment has nothing to do with the indicator used for the chart! 😀
  9. Interesting but also irrelevant to the post I replied to.
  10. Nice try, but not relevant to the post I replied to! 😀
  11. You can call it whatever you want, fact is that they assaulted the Capitol in order to overturn the result of a free and fair election.
  12. General comment: - nothing's perfect as Biden has no magic power. However, the unemployment statistics (and others such as GDP) are showing that the popular MGA claim that Biden's economy is a disaster is ridiculous. - the post-Covid context is different from the pre-Covid context. The post-Covid economic performance of the U.S is much better than in other comparable economies.
  13. Nice try! 😉 Was the Fed implementing a high interest rate policy under Trump in order to cool down the employment growth?
  14. It's more likely due to fiscal years. A budget voted a given year only starts in October of this year until September the next year. So until September 2017 it was Obama's budget and until September 2021 it was Trump's budget. It is also used to calculate deficits and debts as they are caused by the budget voted.
  15. Budgets are counted by fiscal years, not calendar years.
  16. More details about this total dusaster: Job growth zoomed in March as payrolls jumped by 303,000 and unemployment dropped to 3.8%. The unemployment rate edged lower to 3.8%, as expected, even though the labor force participation rate moved higher to 62.7%, a gain of 0.2 https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/05/job-growth-totaled-303000-in-march-better-than-expected-and-unemployment-was-3point8percent.html The unemployment rate has remained below 4% for 26 straight months, the longest such stretch since the late 1960s. The U.S. economy is outshining its global peers even though the Fed has raised rates by 525 basis points since March 2022 to dampen inflation. https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/us-job-growth-beats-expectations-march-wages-increase-steadily-2024-04-05/
  17. Good questions! What's your reply to these questions?
  18. Complete B.S. The UAE foreign minister was warning about a possible rise of extremism and terrorism (and it was an appropriate warning). The 2017 riots in France had nothing to do with Islamic terrorism or extremism. It's completely incoherent and ridiculous!
  19. So Trump wants to pardon the mob he "did not" incite to assault the Capitol! 😆 Incoherence is a permanent feature of the MAGA universe!
  20. More proof of Biden's economic failure! 😆 Job growth zoomed in March as payrolls jumped by 303,000 and unemployment dropped to 3.8%. The labor market is benefiting from a rise in immigration over the past year. https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/us-job-growth-beats-expectations-march-wages-increase-steadily-2024-04-05/
  21. Is he allowed to short his company's stock? 😃
  22. It confirms that Rfk jr is courting Trump's electorate. It's actually quite interesting. While Nikki Haley (for the time being, she has not declared any intent to candidate as independent) was clearly targeting non-Trumpers, it seems that this guy is targeting Trumpers.
  23. I am not familiar with this protest so I have a candid question: who are the protesters, considering it is inspired by Iran? I mean, there mustn't be many pro-Iran people in UK, as most Iranian immigrants likely flew the Iranian regime, same for the people fleeing the Shia regime in Syria. Or do people from different origin just unite for the Palestinian cause?
  24. And after their pardon, the Conald will personally give them brown shirts as a proof of gratitude! 😃
