Pit Bull Breeder Killed by his own dogs
Bundooman replied to steven100's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Indirectly, yes they do. If the wukfits didn't buy the disgusting vermin creatures in the first place then they wouldn't kill people. People's fault - Clear cut. By 'people', I mean the dumbest people on the planet who seem to think they're 'clever', 'tough' or, unbeknown to them - 'downright stupid'! These vermin are killers. -

Thaksin freed on parole and returns to Ban Chan Song La residence

Maybe we could concentrate our impotent fury on you then, Joe boy. Then our fury might turn to derision - yes? -
The most practical reason they want it hand-drawn is because, like most Thai people, they cant read maps. They also can't give specific directions: how many times have you asked about some place or other and Thai people point in a direction and tell you,"over there" For me, multiple, if not hundreds of occasions, I have found this to be true. Please note, I wrote, 'most'. I have also lived here for 18 years. I love living here and I am not complaining about the Thai way of directions. It is what it is. It's part of the charm of Thailand. Just draw a simple map - why provoke the woman who was trying to be helpful?

Flying with niece
Bundooman replied to placeholder's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You're wrong. It has as much to do with being a foreigner as well as not being the child's parent. I would think that if the foreigner is travelling with his Thai wife, then a letter of consent might be required. Alternatively, the poster could ask the airline. -
Search continues for British man missing in southern Thailand
Bundooman replied to webfact's topic in Southern Thailand News
I'm sorry, I must be missing something. One Brit missing but 2 people went out. What happened to the other person? That person is not mentioned again, yet neither of them were wearing safety harnesses. Are 2 people missing then and who is the other 'companion'? Again, very poor reporting.... -

Thai abbot allegedly rapes 7 year old girl, police ignore case
Bundooman replied to webfact's topic in Central Thailand News
If she hadn't filmed it - nobody would believe her over a senior monk. If the rape was in progress then, and although it might have been only have been seconds of filming - she did the right thing. The child was already traumatized, but a few seconds is all it takes to nail him! It's not ideal, but it might help some other small child in the long run. That's why. But of course, the big toughies on here would have handled it differently, wouldn't they? -
Please enlighten us about this guy being a 'drunken pub knob'. I read the article and it doesn't appear anywhere in the article. you're letting your prejudices get the better of you, who, incidentally, has an outstanding '4' posts to his name. I wonder where you are from - one of the Brit-bashing countries by any chance? Or are you an old brit here on your dole money?

"Pol. Lt. Gen. Ittiphol Achariyapradit, acting police chief, said Roland had confessed that the two of them had quarrelled over her not wanting him to go to Pattaya to seen a friend because she was afraid he would be seeing his mistress and other women there and also over her addiction to gambling. by TNR Staff TOP: Pol. Lt. Gen. Ittiphol Achariyapradit, right, and the suspect Mr. Roland, left. I assume you are attempting to be humorous, but in case you aren't, these are the results of being touched by one of the four tentacles that these tiny jelly-fish have, and they last for many months before they eventually fade. Each tiny tentacle has thousands of small hairs , each of which contains enough venom equal to a number of cobras. Usually, the unfortunate swimmer quickly suffers renal collapse followed by certain death if not given instant medication, like an anti-histamine injection. I was successfully offered a job in the Sultanate of Oman back in the late '80s simply because my predecessor's son was also brushed against by one of these, dubbed the most dangerous of all sea creatures. He too was fortunate that a nurse on the beach had anti-histamine facilities with her. They were casualty-evacuated back to UK. I am surprised that this Aussie lady didn't know about them. They spawn from Australian waters and are carried by the Gulf stream directly towards Middle Eastern countries such as Oman on the Persian Gulf. They have been around Thai waters for a few years and have made the news on several occasions. I was under the impression that Australians wore a kind of body stocking when swimming in areas where these Box Jellyfish originate. Apparently, they deflect the tentacle stings. Maybe she was unaware that they were in Thai waters. I feel very sorry for her that her holiday has been marred by this very painful incident.

US warns Thai navy over salvage operations of sunk HTMS Sukhothai
Bundooman replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes, you can also imagine the aggressive action from China if this warship had originated from China and the US had been approached to help salvage it. China would immediately dis-allow it - so why would the USA not warn Thailand to check the terms of sale agreement? Sounds like an under the table deal by the RTN, doesn't it? -
2 Polish women apologise for sunbathing in Chiang Mai temple
Bundooman replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
Caught in the act - I suppose I am. I was also, at the same time of trying to tear my eyes away from these delightful projections, discussing with some friends how desperate Thailand is for tourists, yet 'track down' two, (as you say, beautifully crafted young women who made the grievous and horrifically heinous crime of sunbathing - I know on temple grounds), and are then publicly humiliated in front of the entire nation, obliged to apologize, probably to a most groveling degree and all to satisfy the mean-spirited anus-man-child who reported them for a 'blatantly indecent act'. There's 2 tourists who will now go home - recount this incident and never come back while almost everyone around the world will now have 2nd thoughts of visiting the land of smiles. Why couldn't they have just talked politely to these girls, informed them that it was inappropriate and sent them on their merry way? No such luck. Total humiliation is the Thai way. Disgusting display of cherry-picking, whilst ignoring their own massive sex industry problem by denying it exists!
