  1. Of the 9,000 men in the French Foreign Legion, about 700 are Ukrainians. (https://foreignlegion.info dated March 7, 2022) So yes.
  2. How is China's military base in Cambodia's Ream naval base a peaceful development? Or: China pledged support for Myanmar's junta "No matter how the situation changes" China accepted Gen. Prayut's military coup as legal and signed a security pack with the junta. China claims against the World Court, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Vietnam that the whole of the South China Sea is part of its sovereignty and entitled to exclusive right all the Sea's resources. China refuses to strengthen UN Security Council sanctions imposed over North Korea's nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. China provides Russia with economic and financial support during Russia's war on Ukraine. Xi has threatened Australia over Australia's military alliance with the US. "China has a strong production capability, including producing additional long-range missiles with conventional warheads that target military objectives in Australia when the situation becomes highly tense (sic)." "The reason why the Chinese Communist Party is labeled as the biggest national security threat to Australia is because they are." (Senator James Patterson, Aug. 11, 2022; www.abc.net.au/news) It is China's intention to be the only hegemon in Asia. And "Emperor for Life" Xi is its chief propogandist. Trust Xi as one would trust the word of "peace" cited by PM Prayut.
  3. Yes! I just talked to an agent at 800-772-1213 who said the P.O. Box is the only destination for the form. Agent said that the processing Center itself is not set up to directly receive the form.
  4. I called that number. Eventually got a live person. The Agent said that the 7162 must be mailed to P.O. Box 7162, Wilkes Barre, PA 18767-7162. Sent to any other address is unlikely to arrive for administrative processing. Although I sent my form via Thailand Post EMS on July 4, 2022, SSA has no record of receipt.
  5. Isn't the S-300 manufactured by Russia and exported? Also Ukraine has captured S-300's from Russia during this war. Ukraine has been able to spoof the S-300 with air drones and air fighter missile attacks, so the S-300 isn't the sharpest tool as an air-to-air defense. If Russia wasn't attacking infrastructure and civilians with their missiles, Ukraine wouldn't need such an imprecise counter weapon. Perhaps in the interim before any Iron Dome systems reach Ukraine. Poland should assist Ukraine I stopping Russian missile attacks against Ukraine. As such Poland's anti-missiles would be flying out of Poland.
  6. If you hold a 10-year Long Term Resident Visa, no entry permit is required.
  7. There might be a deeper issue with USPS delivering SS forms timely. The USPS Board of Governors is made up entirely of former POTUS Trump appointees. This Service leadership led by Chairman Louis DeJoy has known connections with Trump and the Republican Party. Sep. 9, 2020 Here Are All The Postal Service Leader's Ties To Trump and the GOP https://www.forbes.com Recall that the GOP opposes mail in voting ballots and supports dissolution of social security. To that end it would be consistent with GOP political agenda that the USPS leadership would slow mailings or "lose" them in connection with absentee voting and social security mail-ins. The mailer envelopes for these mails are distinct and unique. POTUS Biden cannot remove any of the Board members, only the board can aside from any successful federal criminal conviction.
  8. I emailed FBUManila in July 2022 about emailing or mailing my 7162 to them. Response was it must be mailed to Wilkes Barre. No email accepted. So I mailed it EMS (tracked only to US port of entry) to Wilkes Barr. Today I received my Second Notice to file.
  9. New Long Term Resident 10-yr. Visa offered since September 1st now has 625 recipients. About 50% are Smart S (startup); Smart O (Other) and T (Talent) I judged at about equal at 20% each. Deminimus for Smart E ( executive) and Smart I (investor). Target 1 million applicants over next five years. https://ltr.boi.go.th/page/ltr-brochure.html
  10. Superyacht Russian sanctioned oligarch owned Cloudbreak spent anchored the week near Koh Samui in July 2022. Clearly anchored Thailand territorial waters. The Thai government's reaction was to celebrate the yacht's arrival because Thailand's tourism will benefit from arrival of such high-net-worth tourists!
  11. Ubderstand that the Russian super yachts owned by Russian oligarchs identified as Putin political supporters are being impounded by nations for which a majority of UN members support. These yachts are symbols of a fascist state that is conducting an undeclared war against a neighboring peaceful democratic nation, inflicting billions of dollars destroying Ukraine's infrastructure, committing war crimes against citizens and forcing annexation into the Russian state. As such sale of the Russian oligarch yachts not only punishes Putin's oligarch but might go to Ukraine as reparations and other nations who will suffer from Russia's blackmail retaliation by cutting off oil and gas supplies. Imposing a super tax on berthing fees on billionaires doesn't change the political narrative and conceding to Russian terrorism. In some nations (ie., Thailand) an asset that represents the proceeds of illegal activity require only a warrant for seizure and disposition. Some seizures and sale of sanctiobed Russian super yachts have no political agenda. The sales proceeds from sized Axioma* of $37.5m were used for the benefit of investment bank JP Morgan which was owed for its loans to the oligarch's investment company. Because of the UN sanctions against Russia, the oligarch could not service the JPM loans because JPM could not legally accept payments. Not all sanctioned yachts are seized and sold. For some sanctioned oligarchs (determined country by country), yachts remain in oligarch ownership but are secured from leaving their berths to where some were forced to dock. Cases in point: Sechin and Mordsahov. *Original name "Red Square" - would not be very appropriate in today's world.
  12. The foreigner was found "unconscious" on the beach. "Unconscious" is a state of not being awake and not aware of things around you. Such a person is unresponsive and cannot be woken. What matters then is whether there are signs of life such as blood pressure (ie., greater than 90/60mmHg), core body temperature (above 37.3 degree C), skin color (ie., livor mortise with bluish-purple skin discoloration) etc. As such the subject foreigner cannot said to be found dead, albeit he might be in a nonreversable path to death too late for revival. "Unconscious" is not a state of death.
  13. This speculation is moot as Prayut could declare in 2023 that he has yet to be PM and is due another 8 years. The Defense Minister and Constitutional Court will agree.
  14. Some Thailand ideas of 'strategic': Human Rights no Invasion of peaceful democratic countries yes Make Free Trade Agreenents yes Compliance with Free Trade Agreenents no Massive foreign investments in Thailand without conditions yes Military coups to replace democratic elected governments yes Avoid CPTPP membership that excludes China maybeee, maybe not Support China Silk Road economic plan yes etc.
  15. Not to worry. Swedish PEVs out number petrol autos and Sweden joins leader Norway and runner-up Iceland. Within 12 to 18 months Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands are trending the same result - out number petrol autos; Germany same by mid-2023. In 2022 petrol autos held about 41% and total PEVs about 22% of UK passenger registrations. I expect EVs to surpass petrol car registrations. PEVs don't use connecting rods not to mention most all of an ICE. Both your Swedish and UK companies are heading towards obsolescence. So not to worry about connecting supplies.
  16. Note that the forced "withdrawal" still places Russian troops on sovereign Ukraine land. A position that will again come within range of effective Ukraine artillery, aircraft and drone attacks. Not to mention greater danger to the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
  17. I have no idea about Doi Intanon. I only post what I can prove or quote. That said I searched and find that the Doi Chong national park used to be the Royal Thai Air Force telecommunications station and that it subsequently built the Great Holy Relics Pagodas. As fees are charged to the visiting public to the park, its various man-made attractions and conveniences, there seems a likelihood that the military owns and benefits finacially from the property (ie., vs the Thai Treasury). 2 years ago the Parliament required the military to submit all the commercial enterprises it directly or indirectly controlled and the military agreed; but to date it never responded. The Thai Parliament has no power to investigate the government, ie., through supoenas.
  18. Add - amount of land owned directly by the military as if it were an independent sovereign. The Thai government has no title over such property nor access to its resources. Case in point: the 89+plot of Doi Suthep Forest land near Chiang Mai.
  19. PM Prayut supervises the RTP and chairs the Police Commission himself. So perhaps a coup exercise?
  20. Northbridge is hardly the epicenter of Malay Muslims that is the majority faith in Southern Thailand. But given the current on-going insurrection of Malay Muslims in the Southern provinces (still under military State of Emergency?), admiration of the Thai government might not have been well received.
  21. Check benefits of a 10-year Long Term Resident Visa offered by the Thailand Board of Investment. https://ltr.boi.th/page/ltr-brochure.hmtl
  22. Tesla is the second largest manufacturer of EV's in China, top 5 best selling EV in China, and number one for most satisfied customers in the entire auto industry (2022).
  23. The 'modern' RTP is nationalized under the control of the Office of the Prime Minister and comprises 30 bureaus and 6 divisions to cover 77 provinces in a country of 70 million (2021). It originated in 1455 during Rama IV reign and designed by an English vessel captain. see Google. As such, I view its laws, regulations and procedures are applied to the classic "one size fits all" law enforcement needs of every Thai community. A decentralized police force (ie., Provence, District, Sub-District, etc.) might better adjust and react to the security needs of local communities than the national Parliament and the PM. Note that the 50-state USA of 332 million (2021) does not have a national police force. The US police force is subdivided independently by state, county and 'incorporated' city. In contrast Switzerland of about 9 million (2021) has a police force subdivided by the 26 cantons. On the other hand, a single national police force might be convenient for any coup. It need only to control the head of government to assure cooperation.
  24. Very appropriate for a nation that is a mystical democracy.
