  1. I'm really sorry, but you are the only person using the site that has this issue. We have had no other reports at all. The site scripting hasn't changed in some time, so we would have expected to hear of more issues from other users by now.
  2. I've never heard of it either, especially as getting a yellow book in some provinces seems very difficult. That being said it's often easier just to give them the documents they want. You should be able to get this sorted at the first visit to the District Office. The time consuming bit is getting the initial ID number. Swapping the number between books is quick.
  3. Once you have a yellow book it is very straightforward to change your registration to a new address. Just take your passport, your old yellow book, your wife, her ID card and the new blue book to your District Office.
  4. Must be Le Fantôme de l'Opéra.
  5. I just tried fitradio.com using True mobile internet and got the same reply as you.
  6. If the queue is long then it will go right past the pub bar.
  7. Are you using Brave browser?
  8. They weren't a couple of weeks ago.
  9. A post with a link to the Bangkok Post has been removed. 16. The Bangkok Post, Khaosod, Pattaya Mail, Phuket News and the Thaiger do not allow quotes from their news articles or other material to appear on ASEAN NOW. Neither do they allow links to their publications. Posts from members containing quotes from or links to the Bangkok Post, Khaosod, Pattaya Mail, Phuket News and the Thaiger publications will be deleted from the forum. These restrictions are put in place by the above publications, not by ASEAN NOW. In rare cases, forum administrators or the news team may use these sources under special permission.
  10. No, they will take your case seriously and charge their fees in advance. Depending on your choice of legal strategy you will be charged tens or hundreds of thousands of baht. If the case can be proved and you get a judgement in your favour, remember that if the debtor has no fixed income or assets then you will still not receive any money.

  13. As has been mentioned, you can voluntarily pay backdated NI contributions for your missing years if you take action now. Your window of opportunity is closing fast. After April you will only be able to pay 6 years backdated NI contributions. You can check your NI payment history online.
  14. @thairookie It must be frustrating waiting for your money. Are you able to give members a general account of the process your went through please and the time frame? I think your experience would be very helpful to other members.
  15. Any District Office in Bangkok can provide a copy.
  16. Your post does not give enough information. Were you born in Thailand? If you were then you can get a copy of your birth certificate from any District Office/Amphur.
  17. A lawyer is required as the matter must be presented at Court.
  18. Villa, Sukhumvit 33 - 33/1 branch. Not sure if they will have any left though.
  19. SCB and UOB apps both need my fingerprint to log in.
  20. She will have to pay and take the matter to Court. Under Section 1516 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code one spouse has grounds to divorce the other if they have lived separately for 3 years.
  21. You do not need a work permit to access the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. What you need to be able to do is prove you worked for an employer. In terms of the DLPW, not having a work permit is seen as a deficit of the employer and not of the employee. If not having a work permit is all it took for an employee not to be covered by labour law then employers would be incentivised not to assist in getting any work permits at all. My apologies to the OP for sidetracking the discussion.
